Long weekend in South Bohemia

A wonderful resort a short distance from the romantic town of Český Krumlov, where we had the opportunity to enjoy everything that this resort offers for every member of the family... Chocolate factory, wellness, children's playground, restaurant, but also a brewery and distillery and schop&cafe
Cozy family room, excellent breakfast and very kind and professional staff... THANK YOU!

Lovely Remote Oasis

Svachovka has a bit the feel of a summer camp: the attractive complex of buildings, remotely located 5 km from Cesky Krumlov, is grouped together like a compound and the spartan rooms are outfitted with modest wooden dorm-like furniture (I never saw an upholstered chair anywhere on the premises). The Herculean effort to restore and refurbish this former farmstead is impressive and its appeal as a wedding, event and meeting venue is obvious. Front desk and restaurant staff are amiable and professional but you may have trouble communicating with housekeeping staff, and English is all but absent from the printed material provided in the rooms. The food in the restaurant -- mostly traditional Czech fare -- is excellent and portions are generous, and the breakfast buffet is substantial. The restaurant serves beer brewed on the premises and we found it quite drinkable. Cesky Krumlov is overrun with tourists by day and retreating to Svachovka provides a pleasant, quiet respite from the crowds.

Really nice rooms

We stayed a week for golf and the room was lovely, air conditioned and good beds. Very friendly staff and we even were allowed to charge our hybrid car. Definitely a good place to stay and enjoy the golf course. They have a distillery and spa, we sampled the liquor and loved it.

Countryside hotel

Located in the countryside outside Český Krumlov. The room was clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast. Beautiful surroundings including a golf course and also a distillery and a chocolate manufacturing. During our stay tours to these manufacturing parts were arranged through the reception, which was very appreciated. The staff was very supportive and friendly, and English was not a problem.

Grate relax

We booked this location to be out of the crowd and close to Cesky Krumlov; the place is charmy, next to a golf yard; they produce distilled spirits, beer, and chocolate; as wellcome they made us taste a couple of liquors; they care a lot about their production and of course I had to buy some; the apartment we had assigned (the suite) was very wide, comfortable, and clean, with a big living room/kitchen where also the double bed was included and with an additional bed room with two single beds. We also experienced the restaurant which is good; something better could be done for breakfast, almost no sweet stuff to eat, and the swimming pool was too cold.
But I would recommend it with no doubt.
