Fantastic apartment right in the centre of old town square

We had an amazing stay at these apartments we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was in a building right next to the hotel and restaurant facing the astronomical clock. The apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift the stairs aren't steep but could be an issue for people with motobility problems.Don't be put off when you enter the building it looks a bit bleak but the apartment itself was amazing 70" tv, really clean and super comfy beds we loved it. We didnt get up for breakfast cause we were out too late having fun but we did go for drinks in the hotel restaurant and have a meal there and the food and service were fantastic the staff were all super friendly and really fast considering how busy it was. Check in and out was very easy the reception is on the second floor of the hotel just up the stairs as you enter the hotel main entrance and the bell boy took our cases to our apartment for us and showed us the way. The location is perfect directly opposite the astronomical clock and everything is in walking distance to see the rest of prague. We had an amazing stay here and would definitely come back.

Beautiful apartment in a good location

We spent four very nice days in Prague. The arrival was unclear, we ended up in a different hotel than expected to check in. We were allowed to visit the apartment first before check-in and were treated kindly. The apartment itself (nr 81) was beautiful: large, neat, fully equipped and right in the old town. The breakfast room was very warm, but we could sit in another room overlooking Prague's main square. The walk every morning to the hotel was fine to do, five minutes of fresh air in Old Prague was certainly not a punishment.

Loved the idea of an apartment, but after 3 nights we were ready to go! you must go to HOTEL Du PRINCE.. reception is on 1st floor1! Was confusing, but we managed.. Apartment is just ok! The bed is super hard, pillow flat and shower a glass capsule. Very clean, very safe, and had everything we need for our stay
The issues are purely architectural . no closet, no space to unpack and not good lighting in the main area…No a shelve in the WC or bathroom . We definitely made it work! Breakfast was included and it was a nice hot buffet but served 2 blocks away in the “hotel” For the money I guess it was a good deal, Just wished one of the owners had actually stayed in the room!

The apartment is offsite from the Hotel Prince. The breakfast was fresh with great variety. However, be aware the breakfast is about 5 minute walk from the apartment. Also, the basic room rate "includes breakfast" but that is only for the first guest. They automatically charge an additional 32 Euro per day for additional guests. When booking on Hotels.com you do not have an option to forego breakfat

Unacceptable service and misleading information

This was a very poor experience.
Despite arriving after the official check-in time, we were forced to wait almost two hours to receive the keys. We were initially told it would take “10 minutes”, which was clearly untrue. When we asked for clarification, the receptionist reacted rudely, making inappropriate comments about the German language and claiming they did not understand it, even though Booking states that the staff speaks German.
The apartments are located far from the reception, requiring a walk through the central square. During the Christmas holidays, this was extremely crowded and very inconvenient, especially with luggage. This information was not clearly disclosed in advance.
There is no parking near the apartments, stopping is prohibited, and we had to carry our luggage a long distance. This is very poorly organized.
We were also overcharged. The final price on Booking was 207 EUR, but we were charged 221.40 EUR without any clear explanation.
The check-out process was the worst part. Staff contacted us via WhatsApp in a rude and demanding tone, insisting that we bring the key to the reception, which required leaving our luggage unattended. When we asked for assistance, the response was: “much faster for you to bring it.” We were also told that any issue with the apartment during this time would be our responsibility, and that returning the key personally is a hotel rule — something that was never communicated beforehand.
Unprofessional staff, poor organization, inconvenient location, and lack of price transparency. We do not recommend this property.
