Lovely weekend stay
We picked this hotel because there were two queen beds in the room for the three of us . Arrived at front desk around 6pm and front desk staff Sara checked us in. Sara was friendly and helpful, she provided us a quiet room （ we requested during reservation) and recommended a very good restaurant near the hotel. The room 311 was spacious and very quiet （even we facing the street ). Yes, the furnitures was a little dated, but we slept well all three nights during our stay. The only thing Iam not happy about is Marriott charging $40-50 for the third person in the room per night even though I already pay for a room for three guests.
Be advised that the nearest Metro station Flora（ two shorts blocks from the hotel ) currently is closed due to renovations and scheduling to reopen sometime in December 2026。 You can take the tram 13 ( 2nd stop) or walk 8 blocks to Jinho z Podebrad station .

clean, quiet, professionally run
typically clean, quiet, professionally run Marriott property. it's not really in the city center but there is a tram and metro stop close by. Helpful staff. There is a convenient neighborhood mall right across the street if you need to do some shopping. I'd stay here again.

Great customer service and facilities
I would like to share my very positive experience a few days ago at Courtyard by Marriott Prague City. I went to the hotel to look at the facilities and see some rooms. Front desk agent Stepan was excellent. He immediately helped me connect to the hotel’s WiFi, and starting finding rooms he could take me to see. At the time, he didn’t know I was a Bonvoy Titanium member, but I told him as we were looking around.
Stepan was super friendly, informative, and humorous. Everything I saw was nice and tidy. The hotel is aging, but everything was clean and rooms were all good size. The location is a bit outside the old town, but I liked the area (it had a more local feel, and prices for neighboring things were very good). I looked at the hotel as a backup option for future stays if my preferred hotel (Prague Marriott) is full or if prices are too high on some days. I can say that from what I saw and experienced, I would not hesitate to stay at Courtyard by Marriott Prague City. It also has a nice large bar area and an outdoor terrace out front. It’s a nice inviting environment.

Unacceptable
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the unacceptable behavior and attitude displayed by a member of your reception team named Rose during my arrival today.
After a long international trip, I arrived at your hotel today and checked into Room 310. I chose your property because it is part of a well-known international hospitality chain, and I expected a professional and welcoming experience consistent with that reputation.
Unfortunately, the behavior I encountered at reception was the opposite. The receptionist, Rose, spoke to me and members of my group in an extremely disrespectful and unprofessional manner. We have a group booking of 15 rooms, and instead of assisting us with courtesy and professionalism, she treated us in a very hostile way.
What was particularly concerning was that she threatened to call security on us without any reasonable justification. Her tone, facial expressions, and overall attitude were insulting and completely inappropriate for someone working in guest relations.
As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, currently serving as a Regional Director of Sales, I understand the importance of guest experience and professional conduct. What we experienced today falls far below the standards expected from an international brand and was deeply disappointing, especially upon arrival after a long journey.
I kindly request that this matter be investigated. I would also appreciate a response from management explaining how this situation will be addressed, as the treatment we received was unacceptable.

The hotel was conveniently located across the street from a mall that had a food court, supermarket and anything else that may be needed. Within walking distance of many great restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was great !
