Great hotel, delicious breakfast, very kind personal

A week of health hazards, outdated facilities, and language barriers
Pros:
The reception staff was polite and quickly fulfilled my request to provide a cooling fan for the room during check-in.
The place was quiet.
Cons:
Almost every operational aspect of the hotel requires urgent improvement.
The breakfast was the most serious issue. On two days I vomited, and on the remaining days I experienced severe bloating, flatulence, and accelerated transit.
This strongly suggests improper food handling, incorrect storage temperatures, or repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
A hotel breakfast should not cause gastrointestinal distress for almost an entire week.
If this problem is not addressed, I will consider reporting it to the Czech sanitary authorities.
Housekeeping was minimal: towels changed, trash removed, toilet cleaned — but no vacuuming, no dusting, and no bed linen change throughout the stay.
The minibar does not cool properly, which can easily spoil drinks or food.
The hairdryer is extremely outdated and uncomfortable to use.
TV channels are very limited and outdated, with no Chromecast or modern satellite options.
Communication is also a major issue.
Most housekeeping and breakfast staff do not speak English, and even reception communicates in very basic A2-level English. This makes simple requests unnecessarily complicated.
Getting basic items like towels or liquid soap requires going through reception instead of staff handling it directly.
The access card worked inconsistently, sometimes perfectly, other times refusing to open the door.
One morning, a breakfast staff member tried to take my plate away while I was still eating, without asking first — something unacceptable in any hotel.
The surroundings of the hotel are poorly maintained, with cigarette butts, trash, and a generally neglected atmosphere.
The nearby Roztyly metro station is extremely steep and inconvenient, though this is not the hotel’s fault.
The souvenir shop inside the hotel has a very limited schedule, open only a few hours per day.
Even at check‑out, the front desk staff confused our room number and previous requests, which further confirmed the communication issues I had observed throughout the stay.
This moment alone validated my entire review.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but the hygiene, food safety, staff training, and general maintenance must be improved urgently.
I cannot recommend staying here until these issues are resolved.

The worst hotel
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Complete deception, the photos do not match reality. Dirty, dusty, stuffy. The furniture is old. There is a menu in the room, but there is no way to order food. The climax was that there is no hot water, and as it turned out, there hasn't been any for a whole week. The hotel administration has not solved the problem.

Hotel Globus in Prague is an excellent choice!
Hotel Globus Prague offers great value for money!
We chose this hotel attracted by its independent location surrounded by greenery, not central but also not too far from the center, served by the exceptional red C metro line, which gets you to the center in 15 minutes.
And we were not disappointed!
It is wonderful to take the shortcut through the woods to reach the hotel, and then you find yourself immersed in a park full of paths for both pedestrians and cyclists, equipped with playgrounds for children, and full of many fruit trees like plums, walnuts, cherries, raspberries, medicinal herbs, etc. It's beautiful!
The spacious rooms are well arranged, the bathroom has hand soap, shower gel, a hairdryer, and everything necessary, excellent beds, large windows full of light, and in the early morning, the sun coming in caressed our skin in bed, and it was beautiful! (Of course, for those who do not want the sun in the room, there are curtains.) Our room did not have air conditioning, but there was a fan (which we appreciate much more because we do not use air conditioning) that did its job very well.
The continental breakfast is a buffet, continuously replenished when it runs out, everything is replaced immediately, and the children enjoyed the machine that automatically made pancakes, with various local dishes both hot and cold.
At the entrance, there is an ATM, and the hotel itself exchanges money without a fee. In the large and spacious lobby, there is a point with drinks, snacks, and other items that can be purchased and paid for independently with self-service machines.
If I were the owner, I would pay attention to two things to make it perfect:
1) I would replace the carpet with tiles or another washable surface;
2) I would put a small refrigerator, very useful for drinks and other items (there is still the option to leave things in the large fridge at the reception).
As soon as possible, we will return!

nice one
Very nice hotel, fantastic value for money. Well positioned for travelers with car (after Prague we went to Brno in the morning-we skipped the traffic jam). Room was big and clean.
