Nice stay

Good Experience Despite the Heat

The hotel was okay overall. It didn't have air conditioning, which made the first night very uncomfortable. It was extremely hot, and I couldn't sleep. On the positive side, the staff were polite and helpful. Despite the lack of air conditioning, I had a good overall experience.

Fleas in hotel bed

Staff were friendly, but other than that avoid this hotel at all costs.
On our final night we found live fleas in our hotel bed - having already slept there for 4 nights previously you can imagine the discomfort of having to sleep in a bed we’ve found fleas in. We found the fleas around 11pm and were checking out in the morning, so given the fact we were all wooded and we’d stayed there for 4 nights already, we decided our best course of action was to just sleep in there again. Of course this didn’t stop me getting out of the bed every 10 minutes to check for more fleas until I finally dropped off exhausted around 2am.
The hotel have since denied a refund on the basis that the photos ‘do not resemble a flea’ - I have a dog, and I know what fleas look like. That is absolutely a flea.
Conveniently, they don’t say what they think the insect might be. Just that ‘it’s not a flea’. It appears that they are saying having insects in the bed is fine, as long as it’s not a flea (which it most definitely is).
We even found more than one, but one of them jumped off the bed onto the floor before we could take any photos.
Avoid at all costs.

Good value hotel

Clean and tidy rooms. Lovely building and high ceilings. Secure 24 hour reception. Good location for getting into central Prague.

Good Stay for a Conference

I visited Prague for a conference. So it didn't matter, that the hotel as a bit far from the city center. But it was near the conference venue (Prague University) and near the railway station. I didn't take the breakfast or go to the restaurant, as we had all meals at the conference.
For that price you cannot have a five star service, but the place was clean and the beds comfortable, although the furniture was a bit old. It is not suited for people who have problems with walking. Although there is an elevator, you still have to take some stairs.
