Comfortable, well located
First of all seems that the hotel's review status here is a bit misleading, since there are not that many reviews. However, in other sites there are thousands of reviews, so it's more convincing.
We stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of June. The hotel is comfortably located right across Prague main train st. (Hlavni Nadrazi).
Would give a 4.5 points rating if this was possible. received room 402 that wa HUGE (see photos). The room included a TV with Netflix / YouTube etc., safe box, mini bar, kitchenette, a small dinner table and chairs and a very well equipped, comfortable bathroom. The room was very nicely designed and decorated.
The airconditioning was not working for one evening and the room was hot. Magically it worked well again the next afternoon.
Breakfast space was clean and pleasant and breakfast was very good with lots of choices (see photos). Sometimes it took quite sometime to refresh some types of foods, like the sausages and the waffles. I counted twice more than 15 min. to renew the waffles.
The hotel was clean at all times.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great value, highly recommended
I stayed 3 nights in a room for one, and was very satisfied. Convenience to the station was a big reason for choosing Miss Sophie's, and the station is just across the street and through a small park. You can catch a Metro train there, or there are several tram routes at the end of the street. It's a busy road, but the hotel is set back in a courtyard, so it's quiet. There was a heat wave going on while I was there, and the rooms aren't air conditioned, but there was a fan in the room and a window that opened, and it cooled off at night, so I felt comfortable. The room was well equipped and had a desk with a comfortable chair, and storage space. And I think I must have booked with the hotel directly, because if you do that breakfast is included, and in fact it was excellent. So considering everything, I'd give Miss Sophie a very good review! If I go back to Prague, it's where I'd look first.

The Location is perfect close to the main station but quiet

Stay somewhere else
Honestly, I can’t recommend it. There are so many better options nearby at the same price point. Maybe if only staying one or two nights in Prague on a budget and you want to be next to the train station this might be OK. It certainly is OK for students. A number of the rooms do not have air-conditioning. The solution is to open the windows wide all night with the curtains opened, and run a fan. Of those in our group that had air conditioning, two rooms had floods in their units from dripping ACs. It worked out, but it was not ideal. There was no luggage rack in the room. I inquired about this and there were none. The suitcase simply has to sit on the floor. There are no drawers and there’s no closet. I was given three hangers on a pipe. It would’ve been great to have more hangers. None available. The staff at the desk was unable to break larger currency that was given to me by the ATM, even when I explained that I wanted to break the currency to leave gratuities for the housekeeping and breakfast staff. Sigh. Desk staff in multiple interactions were snarky and rude. They only provided one breakfast card even though we should’ve had two per person so that created the situation where we had to go back to the desk and ask for a second and we were challenged on this. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to sneak in and “steal” their very mediocre breakfast. I had to go down the block to a coffee shop to get a decent cup of Joe. I was in a small guided group tour and we are mature adults in our 40s-60s. We were also challenged about checking into our rooms that our names were actually who we were claiming to be and that we were entitled to rooms that our guide arranged for. When we arrived some of the rooms were ready by 3 o’clock, but others were not. So those who had to wait were later challenged that we weren’t exactly the people who were entitled to those rooms as they became available. The guide had to come back and confirm. Of course we’d all earlier submitted our passports which they scanned. The stay stressful and left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve previously stayed at the Hotel Residence Agnes, which was lovely, and the Carlo IV, which is also nice because it has a spa. There are so many other options in Prague. This is really very pedestrian and not going to enhance your visit to this beautiful city. Avoid!

We also understand that our check-in procedures may have felt inconvenient. However, verifying every guest's identity before issuing room keys is an important part of our security procedures, particularly for group arrivals, ensuring keys are only issued to the correct guests.
Regarding the breakfast, we are proud of our breakfast, which is consistently one of our highest-rated features. We offer a full hot and cold buffet including freshly cooked eggs, waffles, soft pretzels, pastries, breads, local cheeses and meats, hot soups, fresh salads, fresh fruit and vegetables, yogurt and muesli, cereals, and even homemade lassies. We serve authentic, espresso-based coffee that many of our guests love so much they ask to buy our beans to take home, though we understand that coffee preferences can vary by guest. Breakfast vouchers are our preferred way of tracking attendance so we can be sure we accommodate every guest who has ordered breakfast.
As for exchanging cash, our reception is always happy to assist when possible, but we cannot guarantee sufficient change will always be available.
