Nice hotel with friendly staff!

Strategically located hotel with nice traditional Czech restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The tram stop is also near the hotel. Otherwise simple but clean rooms and an excellent breakfast; good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff including Yurej and Aleksei. They gave good tips and advice on public transport: a card for tram, bus and metro for 14,- per person valid indefinitely for 72 hours! We did pretty much everything by tram and had a super fun week!

Good location poor room facilities

Location Quite central Breakfast Quite diverse. However, the last visit required 3x room change and staff at reception visibly overwhelmed (first broken in the room , then move offered but the room was not cleaned at all, the next window did not close properly and cold inside). These things should be checked and fixed by housemaids when cleaning. Doesn't seem to interest anyone there though walls stained, door pushed off, door lock in bathroom broken, lamps bent at bed, bed linen stained. Not 4 stars worthy of any Ibis hotel is in better condition and neater.

Don’t believe the ratings. Better options elsewhere

We were in Prague for ten days for an event. We book the Theatrino Hotel because of its location and its good rating on Expedia. We paid on average $130 a night
We arrived on a Thursday in the middle of a heat wave. After asking for a room with air conditioning, we were told we could not have a room with air conditioning. We were given a room on the 4th floor by the elevator.
The first two nights were sweltering hot and had poor sleeps. We actually ended up booking three different hotels with air conditioning, until the heat wave stopped . We paid about $100 a night for these hotels and they were superior in every way except the breakfast.
I would not recommend this hotel at all
The hotel is dated. Rooms are small and poorly laid out. Each morning, the cleaning crew of six women would set up in front of our door, talking loudly.
Other than the complimentary breakfast being first rate, other options are just better in every area.

A pleasant and well-organized hotel

I recommend this hotel to families, couples, and groups who want to visit Prague while choosing a comfortable hotel well-served by public transport. The breakfast, the decor, and the art nouveau theater were excellent. The staff was very kind, and for our relatively long stay, they moved us to a larger room on the first floor.
A special thanks to Marek at the reception, who was always professional and a true polyglot!

Good hotel,good location,good breakfast .Super friendly staff

Very good location,quiet and good infrastructure.Good breakfast.Friendly employees,spesielt ladies who served breakfast and cleaned rooms were so sweet,smiling.What a start of the day!I think most of them are from Ukraine.I will come back.Quiet,I slept with open windows
