Beautiful modern and cosy place

Surprisingly large rooms, perfectly clean and cosy. The brewery offers nice selection of Czech cuisine and really good craft beers. The position is perfect for exploring the beauty of Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland without being overwhelmed with tourists. We had a great time here and definitely will be back.

Accommodation without rules

We stayed here from Friday to Saturday, when there was a truck festival, but it consisted only of a truck of one company.We absolutely did not sleep, because the participants of the festival and some other accommodations were drinking and making noise until the early morning hours and no one addressed it. Only in the morning, when at 6 o'clock they started full rock music in one of the trucks, we understood why they didn't deal with it.The event was organized by the owner or a relative of the owners,who basically told us,for he is the master of the forest and some guests don't care about him, he can do whatever he wants regardless of his own rules.So if you are looking for accommodation without rules, where you can do whatever you want after dark, don't hesitate,here you can still experience the 90s.

Beer tasting

Stayed for 1 night while visiting brewery.
I´d like to highlight complexity of service - if you ask in the restaurant, they will either help you or get someone who helps you...
We arrived in the morning and wanted to plan program for whole day. We got info about neighborhood, were invited to private beer tasting and were allowed to play on tenis court free of charge!
Later at night played live music.
We booked budget accommodation in nearby train wagons. It wasn´t cheap, but if we got great service included.

Beer Paradise

We have decided to pay another visit to the Kocour Brewery and to be able enjoy the rich variety of excellent beers on tap, we have also booked accommodation on the spot. There are two options, we have selected the less expensive one, which also more fun. You get to sleep in an old train car. The compartment fits 2 people and isn´t very big, so be prepared for it, but it is fun, if you stay for that one night like us. There are also regular rooms available for a higher price. The biggest attraction is the great beer and good food for reasonable prices. You can sit outside, when the weather is warm, or inside in the restaurant. The service at the beginning has been a bit slow, but friendly. Otherwise the staff is in general very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast served outside and were quite tempted to start the new day with the great beer, but hadn´t done it only because we were driving back home. Free Wifi works reliable on the spot.

Fantastische Unterkunft

Eine super modernisierte Unterkunft. Die Hotelzimmer sind im 2.OG der Brauhalle. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und extrem Sauber! Selten so saubere Zimmer vorgefunden, kein Haar auf dem Boden. Kein Krümel zu finden. Alles Akurat!
Die Gaststätte im Erdgeschoss der Brauerei ist super schön gestaltet. Hier gibt es leckere traditionelle Speissen für wenig Geld. Das vor Ort gebraute Bier schmeckt super.
