Best Hostel in Vina del Mar

Beautiful hostel. Excellent decor and design. Incredibly friendly staff. Excellent Location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for 3 days. I could honestly stay in this hostel for a couple months, easy. Nice terrace, communal space with a big tv, and close to everything. Cheers Dennis and Diego, you guys are the best!

Construction Criticism

To begin with, I want to clarify that the hostel is not in poor condition or presents problems of cleaning or maintenance. However, there are certain aspects that affect the comfort of the stay and that I consider important to mention.
Firstly, the presence of the pet in the establishment is uncomfortable, as it frequently barks and even bites shoes of some guests, which generates discomfort and concern.
On the other hand, the immediate environment presents an additional problem: currently there are constructions both on the main street and in the same building under the hostel, which causes constant hammering noises and high impact tools such as jackhammers. This Noise level, especially during several hours of the day, becomes quite uncomfortable to rest or work inside the hostel.
Another aspect to improve is the rules regarding the use of cigarettes. While smoking is allowed on the balcony, the space is only one meter wide, making it a very small place, and it is required to keep the windows closed while smoking. This is impractical and creates discomfort for both smokers and non-smokers.
Finally, it is important to emphasize that the Wi-Fi Service is poor: the signal is very slow and unstable, which makes it considerably difficult to work remotely or any activity that requires an internet connection.
In conclusion, although the establishment itself is correct in terms of its infrastructure, external conditions, lack of clarity in certain rules, poor wifi and lack of control over the pet significantly affect the guest experience.

Awful

The room in general was horrible, very poor hygiene, dirty bathrooms without hot water, the staff very bad attention, especially the cleaning ladies. The kitchen was very poorly cleaned. I don't recommend it. They gave me a room where 5 men slept and the smell in the room was horrible

Good!

Friendly staff and clean in general, bedding is not included, lockers are a little insecure, some of them are broken. They have very options for you to party and get to know the city, maybe what I did not like too much was that some of the staff are volunteers, so they do not even know the language, many places or helpful information. The local staff was really good comparing to the volunteers.
Breakfast should be more prepared, they only have bread, coffee and jam.

Reviews all over place but we liked it!

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable staff and the hostel had fun and young atmosphere. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was slightly dirty with dirty dishes piling up in the sink. Public bathrooms well attended and clean, the bathroom in our room was gross. Best part about this hostel is the staff and how willing they are to go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable!
