FAMILY HOTEL
Just got back from the Amathus where we spend a lovely family holiday. Our experience was simply amazing and we are very surprised that people have the audacity to write defamatory reviews for no reasons. We are assuming that the previous reviews were written by the same family that has caused havoc at the hotel. The poor staff were trying very very hard, on top of their work and the effort to provide service, to control them so that the rest of us can enjoy our time there! To sum up:
1) Lovely facilities for the children, our children simply loved it!
2) Nice, comfortable, clean rooms.
3) Food options for all tastes.
4) Staff that go way beyond to be helpful and assist all guests, always with a smile.
I cannot but highly recommend the Amathus! You will have a great time!

Back in the circle of friends
The hotel still holds the brand of one of the best hotels on the coast. And his advantage is a highly trained and friendly staff. Special thanks to those who have made our holiday beautiful - Diana, Skevi, Zina and Simone, as well as all the other hotel staff. We'll definitely be back in October.

Nice hotel. Decent accommodation and facilities. Facilities for kids were okay - the water park is not really suitable for kids between 100-140cm tall (toddler slides too small and big slides are too big). Kids area was dominated by big screen computer games. Food was average to bad though. Most of The hot breakfast buffet was cold or crispy by the time we went down at 8am every morning. The evening buffets were also all pretty average - the hot food selection was okay, but for the price tag I’d expect something better than I could buy at a take away. Basically, If they were an independent restaurant they’d have gone out of business for the bad reviews.

Wonderful hotel
I stayed at the hotel for 11 nights just recently with my Daughter, Grandson and Grandaughter. From the wonderful welcome on arrival to the professionalism of the staff, the absolute cleanliness throughout the hotel, the fantastic lifeguards, the cleaning of our room, the attentive service of the waiters in the main restaurant, the efficient service of drinks by the pool always delivered with a smile, the lovely girls in the kids club where our children loved to spend some time every day when they became too hot, the beautiful roses champagne and birthday chocolate cake for my Grandson on arrival which he was so excited about it was a joy to stay here. There was no issue in getting sunbeds every day despite the hotel being very busy.
The only thing to point out is it would be good to have a little more choice for younger children at the buffet and also the mini burgers which were delicious to have buns to go with them. The breakfast at the hotel is amazing.
The Sunday Buffet was excellent which we had twice during our stay. All in all a fabulous holiday where the children enjoyed being in the pool every day and said they didn’t want to leave! The Amathus is the best of the best!
