Authentic Stay with Very Warm Welcoming

We stayed at Esperando for a week at the end of July. This bed and breakfast is located in a very quiet and authentic village near Larnaca. The hosts, Anthoulla and her husband, are very welcoming, very attentive and with little care. They serve every morning a great breakfast with a very hearty plate (we did not have lunch). Esperando is very quiet and very relaxing. The pool is really nice! I recommend this property for the quality of Welcoming and serenity found there!

Booking cancelled

We visited Esperando in September 2023 and after being asked to change rooms, from the family room they allocated to double and then again to escape a noisy neighbour we finally settled in a lovely room.
When we decided to return in September ‘25, I specifically asked for the same lovely room again and was told it was available so I booked it 8 weeks in advance.
Last week, just 7 days before arrival, the owner told us we’d have to have a different room for the first two nights of our stay.
I asked why and was told another holidaymaker’s booking had changed.
I politely asked why that holiday maker couldn’t use the other room for two nights.
I was then invited to cancel my booking.

Charm and authenticity

Great welcome in a quiet and charming place. Very hearty and delicious breakfast served at the plate, pity it is not varied (same plate on the 3 days rental). Very clean and spacious. Only flats, our spa 2 places did not work and small sink. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Esperando and Maroni exceeded our expectations.

A small but very fine Boutique hotel on the outskirts of the picturesque village. The Owner couple is touchingly concerned about the satisfaction of each guest, always available and fulfilling all individual wishes. Rich breakfast taken under a palm tree in the garden of the country house, nice clean saltwater pool in the garden. Our room was large and airy, with good air conditioning, all solar powered, building services very advanced. Maroni is only 3 km from the sea, which we could see from our balcony, there small sandy beach with coffee shop, sunbeds and umbrellas. To Larnaca about 35 km, to Limassol and Nicosia about 40. In the village a good restaurant, 5 minutes walk, several restaurants within a few minutes drive.

Absolutely loved Esperando so Idyllic with the best Hosts.

We stayed her for 5 nights, absolutely loved it !! Anthoulaa and her Husband are just lovely, nothing was too much trouble and we were treated amazingly. Room was very spacious and immaculate, most gorgeous Jacuzzi Bath Would highly recommend if you want idyllic peace and quiet also traditional Cyprus within a great location to so many different stunning beaches, places to visit
