City nice and calm vacation that we will do again soon.

Nice room and clean as well as the bathroom.
There is what someone will need and in the kitchen all the utensils.
Due to the nature of the village, breakfast is a nice 3 to 4 minute walk through the small streets where no cars pass.

Charming rustic apartment with wonderful views

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There is a large covered balcony with great views due to the location - up steep steps so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast provided at Tochni Tavern was amazing with everything you could wish for. The pool is small but fine for a dip. There are more steps to the Tavern too. Staff were efficient and friendly. The towels were changed several times during the week. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked well and was necessary in July. Free wifi is a plus.

Nice location but in need of refurbishment

The so call Cyprus Villages is a company that owns and runs the vilas on Tochni village.
We had our rooms changed when we arrived as the ones we booked in were already full. This shown a complete lack of organisation and communication within the team. Even though, the staff pronted to solve the problem and was very friendly.
The village is amazingly quiet and picturesque and the house we have been in is in great location.
The breakfast is good but the houses though need some refurbishment and to be cleaned properly. Same applies to the pool area.

Fantastic & ideal way to visit Cyprus

We visited Cyprus during first 2 weeks of july. We kicked our visit of with a stay of 3nights in a big-tourist-hotel near to Paphos. Afterwards we moved to Vasilikos house for what we intended to be a 3 night stay. Very rapidly we decided to stay for the entire remaining period... Vasilikos house is part of wonderfull concept: Cyprus Villages Traditional Houses. The ideal way to discover Cyprus, away from mass tourism, centrally located, in a very charming village Tochni, spacious charming houses/apartments around a common swimming pool, good breakfast with a magnificent view (and very good dinner) in their "Tochni Tavern" and last but not least with a very dedicated and helpfull host: Sofronis! Unless you're a real fan of anonymous big hotel accomodation we very highly recommend Vasilikos House as your base camp to visit this wounderfull island Cyprus!

Authentic, comfy, nice

As you enter in one of the apartments you will immediately feel what Cyprus. The stone and wood construction gives the place a rustic and homey feeling. The management of the village is efficient and very friendly. You may ask anything, they will be able to guide you around. A great place to feel the Cypriot warmth.
