Clean, quiet and good prices
They also provide garage parking which is 10 Eur/day, which was totally worth it. There is a lot of parking space outside as well, in front of the Hotel, but the car will stay in direct sunlight almost all day.
There is a market very close to the Hotel, about 100m.
This Hotel isn't directly in Budva city, but rather in Becici (right next to Budva), which has far better beaches and infrastructure than Budva in my opinion, and is less crowded.
To get to the hotel, there is a steep, tight road which must be climbed, but we did not find it too scary to walk or drive.
It was very pleasant and relaxing to stay at Larimar Hotel.

LOCATION TO AVOID
WE HAD DECIDED TO SPEND A FEW DAYS AT THE BEACH IN BUDVA STAYING IN THIS HOTEL THAT, DESPITE NOT BEING LOCATED NEAR THE BEACH, HAD AS AN OPTION TO ACCOMMODATE EVEN SMALL DOGS LIKE OURS ... ACTUALLY 'AFTER A FEW DAYS OF STAY WE DISCOVERED THAT DOGS WERE NOT WELCOME AT ALL... WE FOUND A FAIRLY RECENT AND NEW FACILITY, BUT UNFORTUNATELY RUN BY A RUDE AND INADEQUATE STAFF WHO ALSO DID NOT SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH (RUSSIAN ONLY) EXCEPT THE LADY OF THE RECEPTION....
THE ABSURD BREAKFAST... POOR AND STRIPPED .... AND POORLY RESORTED.... TO THE REQUEST FOR BASIC THINGS LIKE LEMON / ESPRESSO / JAM THE STAFF AND 'TURNED OUT TO BE ANNOYED BY SUCH REQUESTS RESPONDING IN A BAD WAY THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY....
AND WHAT ABOUT THE POOL?? (LACKING A MINIMUM OF GREEN) WAS REALLY VERY DIRTY AND ANTIGENIC.....
EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED....

Excellent value, quiet location
Check in smooth - Alex and family always seem to be hand to help.
Rooms modern, clean and well appointed with full kitchen facilities and dining table.
Comfy beds and new bathrooms. Nice balcony views and the AC was strong.
About 8-10 min walk (downhill) to the well served Becici beach. Lots of sunbeds and watersports. Alex takes guests there or back 3x daily which is good in hot weather. Free daily beach towels.
Breakfast is cold food only and limited. Pool is tiny.
A few mini markets nearby but they are not hugely stocked. Greater choice of shops and restaurants in Budvar town centre, which is about 10mins taxi away.
Splendid Hotel is 5mins away walking - has nice places to eat also.
Overall, great service and amazing value for summer period.

Quiet, friendly and calm
The room are clean, comfy and quiet.
The pool is perfect, as most guests go to the beach, which is packed, so to stay at the pool is relaxing and we enjoyed watching the swallows diving to the pool to drink.
Breakfast as €10 each and substantial for a continental.
Alex and the staff could not do enough for us.
Becici beach is crowded and noisy as hell, so the Larimar provides a welcome oasis of calm.
