We where very pleased with our accomdation and the staff friendly. The breafast was different but ok

Wifi is good
The beds are terrible, i am 1m90 and 105 kilo. The beds are double single. No sleep.
No airco. So room is hot.
There is mold on the bathtub's sealant strip.
Rooms are only cleaned when a sign is put on the door, but without the sign the rooms are also not inspected by housekeeping.
So i ran out of shower gel the second day.
The tv remote was broken, there is no phone in the room, so i called with my mobile the reception. They told me to go to the reception, this is no service.
In the End i received another remote control
The breakfast is very good.
On the day of arrival i was told that the restaurant was fully booked.
I was tired of the flight, and i wanted to eat something. I was advised to go to the city centre .
I book always a hotel with a restaurant, because i have to work at customers, and i do not want to search for hotels nearby when i finish work
It would be better That the hotel, send a message after the booking, to check if a restaurant reservation is needed
The second day i reserved.
Restaurant staff is good, food is good.

I recently stayed at Hotel Marselis and left feeling thoroughly let down. Given the high price point, I had high expectations for quality, comfort, and service. Unfortunately, almost every aspect of the stay fell far short of what one should reasonably expect at this price level.
First Impressions and Check-In
My stay started poorly. The on-site parking was shockingly overpriced, especially when free street parking was available right next to the property. The receptionist was noticeably unfriendly and unhelpful, setting a sour tone right from the beginning.
Room Quality and Comfort
The room itself was a big letdown. It was worn, dated, and felt generally unclean. The most alarming discovery was a cockroach on the bathroom floor – not exactly what you want to see when paying premium rates. The entire hotel had a tired, dirty feel that no amount of high pricing could justify.
Ventilation was practically non-existent. The room became uncomfortably hot during the night, with no effective air conditioning or fresh air circulation. Because it was a ground-floor room with a veranda, I was forced to leave the door open for some airflow. However, the veranda door was broken and could not be properly locked from the inside, meaning anyone could have walked straight into the room during the night. This was a serious safety concern that ruined any chance of a restful sleep. The bathroom also suffered from the same lack of ventilation, making it stuffy and unpleasant.

Excellent location
Very cozy and nice hotel. Perfect location right with the beach. Nice to fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Good breakfast and child friendly hotel with pool and sauna. Nice rooms, although they were of old standard. The bath/shower was somewhat tight, but otherwise tip top.

The hotel is beautifully located and has great potential, but the room was quite worn and in need of some updating.
The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, there were no towels available at the pool, and the staff there were not particularly helpful when we asked about them.
The restaurant was the biggest disappointment. Despite the restaurant only being about half full, we had to wait more than two hours for a table because, according to the staff, they were understaffed. Once seated, we had to wait a long time for our food. Although the food tasted good, it was not served hot, and the adults’ main courses were forgotten altogether. Even after reminding the staff, we had to wait a considerable amount of time before they arrived.
The breakfast, however, was good and offered a nice variety.
Overall, while the hotel has a lot of potential and the reception staff were excellent, the restaurant experience and some service issues significantly affected our stay.
