Loved it!

Visited with friends and 3 x 5yr old boys
Just a brilliant setup! Accomodation was clean, well arranged.
Lalandia activities were fab - the gold wristbands were great value and the kids did absolutely everything.
Food was pricey but the supermarket was ok value so we could do some self catering.
Short, easy walk into Bilund to the super Lego house and great bakeries!
Bargain flights from Heathrow made it a super long weekend.

Be very careful to read the water and electricity charge at the end of your stay: we stayed for three nights and we were charged for water use the equivalent of more than 15,000 (that's 16 thousand) liters. We were a family of three.

The facilities at Lalandia are excellent, with the central facilities in the aquadome and soft play being excellent for young kids. The prices are expensive, even for Denmark, although that was expected. Our villa was very far from the central facilities which can be an inconvenience if you do not have a car. I think it's a great location to stay for an extended break near legoland.

We stayed in Lalandia for 4 nights as part of a longer holiday in Denmark.
Pros - Very spacious, spotless lodge which was well equipped and comfortable
Quiet and peaceful location
Easy check in - we drove our hire car straight to our lodge and used the code sent us to access the lodge and our wristbands.
Our kids aged 11,14 and 16 loved the slides in the aquadome and there was enough excitement to satisfy teenagers.
Good base for Legoland and the Lego House.
We also enjoyed ice skating and bowling in Lalandia.
Cons - to me the aquadome felt quite dated and dark. If you weren’t swimming, it didn’t feel very pleasant to me to sit and relax.
The rest of Lalandia is in permanent dystopian night time. No natural light at all and for some reason the light level is set so it feels like it’s night all the time. I didn’t mind in the evening but definitely didn’t want to spend whole days of my summer holidays like that.
(Kids didn’t notice this at all and didn’t know what I was talking about..)
It was a good 20 minute walk from our lodge to the dome, and we didn’t have any small children with us. The nearest train stop was half way into our journey. The lodges are very spaced out (much much more so than any Eurocamp type park we’ve been to) which meant big distances between places.
The pool closed at 18.30 when we were there (and the slides at 18.00) which didn’t leave much time to use the pool if you were at Legoland or Lego house.

Very nice park for children. Cottage was basic but neat and cared for. Lots of playgrounds and pool very nice. Here too everything neatly taken care of. Tip go swimming with your children in family cubicle, so you can shower separately and you do not have to in shared shower and dressing room.
