Charm

Charming and quiet place. Beautiful house, garden and service. Tasty dinner and wine collection. A feeling of traveling back in time to the early 1900.

It's more like being in a cool hostel.

The castle was beautifully located at Liselund Park. But the term hotel does not exactly fit. Actually, a more subtle term would be a "fat boutique hostel". Then the small cozy room, without a TV, and properly placed reading lamps, hard beds and mini decorated bathroom of 1, 2 x 1,2 m, without any place to put the toilet bag, fit better. The little breakfast buffet in the not quite toprene basement room seemed more ok, as well as the staffing was sparse. The same sweet English-speaking girl, who was to serve the many cafeteria guests, was also to receive the lodging, and later to receive the eating, while serving. The food is definitely not something to write home about, at that price, and a glass of wine is poured up with a hard hand. An English proverb says that assumptions is the mother of all f... u.... and that is precisely what comes into play when the price of accommodation (remember breakfast is not included, also expensive) is so high.

Too expensive

Paid 2300 kr. for one night and 2 dishes of food. No Danish-speaking staff at all. Had been told at the time of booking that they had no standard rooms on the booked date and we therefore had to pay for an upgrade. Upon arrival it turned out to be a sales trick. They were standard rooms. However, we paid for the upgrade because the standard rooms were so small that we could almost not turn around the room. However, the upgrade did not meet expectations at all. Both rooms were poorly cleaned. One bathroom was so small that it was a joke. There was a hand shower over a sink and toilet. Calling it compact was a strong undermining.
Ali overall stay was far too expensive for the price. Find another accommodation at Møn

Don't buy food

Cozy old place in beautiful surroundings. But totally disappointing food. Overpriced and nothing good to say about quality and appearance. Great disappointment to eat there. The stupidest money I've spent in a long time.

Lovely little castle close to Måns Klint and you can climb directly down below to ”little Klint” from the castle garden.
