Very disappointed
My father invited the whole family at Tyrstrup Kro for a cozy evening. The surroundings are beautiful and the place is beautifully decorated, so our expectations were high from the start. The staff was friendly but the service was very slow. It took over 30 minutes before we got our drinks.
When the groceries arrived, there were already errors in the order – one groceries was wrong, and a main dish for the children was completely missing. The mushroom soup my husband had ordered was sent back immediately as it mostly resembled water with a mushroom flavor.
We then waited more than an hour and a half at the main dishes, and there were seldom followed up at the table. We had to contact the waiters several times to both get filled up drinks and hear how far the food was.
The food was unfortunately also very average and in no way worth the prices. My husband and my brother both ordered ribeye for around 500 kr. the piece, which in itself is fine – but then you also expect meat of really high quality. That was far from the case.
We also bought two bottles of wine for over DKK 1,000 per bottle and spent around DKK 3,000 on drinks. Therefore, I honestly expected that the restaurant would at least compensate a little for the very bad experience and the many errors. It didn’t happen, and we ended up with a bill of over DKK 10,000 for a really disappointing dinner.
Unfortunately, this is not a place we will return to.

Not bad, but not as good as expected
I think they were busy that day, because it took a surprisingly long time from we sat down to we got a menu card and even longer before they came to accept orders.
The food took almost two hours before it arrived. 1 hour and 45 minutes maybe. The waitress told me that there was a "computer error" but that he would like to give dessert and coffee at his expense. That helps a little.
When the food finally came, it was good. The Wienerschnitzlen was delicious, but I also expect it to be almost 300,-.
One fellow eater bought a ribeye, which cost 480,-. It is crazyly expensive and it is at least 200,- too expensive in relation to the size and quantity of garniture included.
Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good when it came, and the level of service was fine, but the waiting time was of course too long and I think the food is too expensive.

Here everything can be done
We were greeted by an open, welcoming and friendly staff. There was no sour mine over the world's queries, wishes and mails.
The decoration was nice, the food good, the room delicious, the chairs good to sit in, the rooms nice and the price reasonable.
The day passed virtually without problems and we can only recommend choosing Tyrstrup for your party.
