Locke Copenhagen strikes the perfect balance between style, comfort, and hospitality. The space is beautifully designed, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every detail made for a fantastic stay. Construction site: do not enter!
Avoid! Despite what the Locke website shows, the Postbyen area where the round towers are located is only partially built. Midway through my stay, insanely noisy pile-driving started early in the morning. The window frames in my room vibrated. Management played dumb: “we had no idea!” even though Danish law says neighbors are notified weeks in advance. Book elsewhere.

Thanks for the feedback, even though it's tough to hear that we missed the mark so completely during your stay. We know how frustrating it is to have your mornings disrupted by intense construction noise. Our proximity to the Central Train Station and being in the heart of a rapidly evolving part of the city means we sometimes experience these heavy local developments, which is the trade-off for such a central location. We are genuinely sorry that the noise and our communication on the ground didn't live up to the seamless experience we always want to provide for our guests.

Top-notch all-around experience at Locke Copenhagen Hotel
So nice to be able to write a rave review! What a wonderful experience we had during our five nights at the Locke Copenhagen.! Absolutely nothing to improve upon. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, & helpful. I had lost a credit card & the replacement card was expedited via DHL to the hotel ahead of our arrival, where they kindly kept it until our arrival. They upgraded us to an even better beautiful suite with a great ciymty view. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous & excellent. The location is perfect, just behind the fabulous & massive Ny Carlsberg Glyptoteket art museum. Minutes walk to the main train station & a subway stop there. Easy walk to Tivoli & Christiansborg Palace. Secure & easy garage parking. All perfect for our stay. Can’t wait to come back & to try Lockes in other cities.

A real gem of accommodation in central Copenhagen
Me and my husband stayed 7 nights in a city studio and we couldn't be more satisfied with our stay! We had wanted a room high up in the building with nice views and that was exactly what we got: views of the train station, central Copenhagen and the sunset. The apartment itself felt fresh, well cleaned, and nicely and practically decorated (except the location of the TV). In the kitchen there was what we needed for simple cooking (though there would have been more plates, glasses and cutlery, and a proper bread knife) and the products in the bathroom were of quality. We were met only by super nice and extremely helpful staff at the front desk.
The location was really great! The proximity to the train station was great because we traveled around Denmark by train. It was also very smooth when we got around Copenhagen by public transport, as both the subway and bus were within walking distance. The glyptoteque and Tivoli were close, as well as going down to the water. Me and my husband felt that the restaurants in and around the hotel were too expensive for our taste, but several evenings we walked about 15 minutes to Fisketorvet shopping center where they had a large supermarket (Føtex) and an affordable food court.
It was very grateful with a laundry room in the basement. It was affordable and worked without hassle, however, in my opinion a little pity that the machines were operated via an app.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the accommodation.

We had the most amazing stay at Locke Copenhagen, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. My partner and I stayed here to celebrate my 20th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable trip. We were upgraded from a standard room to a beautiful suite. We also wanted to hire bikes to explore Copenhagen, and they kindly gave us one complimentary for my birthday. On our final day, we asked about a late check-out so we could relax and pack without rushing in which they very generously waived the fee, which was such a thoughtful gesture. From the reception team to the café staff, everyone was so warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive. The suite itself was absolutely stunning. The contemporary Nordic design was beautiful, with so much attention to detail. It had everything we could have needed, including a fridge, stove, and crockery, making it feel like a home away from home. The view from our room was incredible, and the queen-size bed was without a doubt the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! Despite being located right next to the train station, the hotel and surrounding area were incredibly peaceful and and quiet. The location couldn’t have been better—central Copenhagen was right on our doorstep, making it easy to walk or travel anywhere we wanted to explore. This hotel made my birthday celebration feel incredibly special, and it’s the little touches and outstanding hospitality that made all the difference. Thank you to everyone at Locke!
