Well located, clean and comfortable but some minor issues.

The accommodation was good and located not too far from the railway station. The breakfast was good and plentiful but it was all self-serve. Although there was hand wash and hand lotion provided, there was no soap or shower gel and no shampoo/conditioner. This is a basic requirement that needs to be provided. We also had some trouble with the television channels so we messaged the owners however they never responded.

Fire escape routes strongly deficient

Nice room on the first floor - and clean and nice.
But the fireways were absolutely not in order.
In case of fire it would be very difficult to get out. had to get out onto the roof, but from here there was no way down. In fact, I think it is illegal!

Central location in Ribe

Three large rooms together in room 3 - including bath and toilet as well as a kitchen for free use plus central location in Ribe is a good bet for a visit to Ribe. I don't think room 1 and 2 have their own bath and toilet, but you have to find out for yourself.
It seemed like the owner is set on service; for example, you can call him around the clock and get help if you need it, he tells us.
Two small disadvantages are that the car must be parked some distance away after you have emptied it of suitcases etc. The other disadvantage is only for old people: it all happens on the 1st floor up a long flight of stairs. Then if you are old and have osteoarthritis and a lack of balance, you may have to consider a B&B on the ground floor somewhere else.
If these stumbling blocks are nothing for you, you have my recommendation here.

Nice B&B

This place is a cute and cosy B&B a little walk off from Ribe "city center". The building itself is beautiful because it was from an old farm building.
We got the room in the roof (with separate bathroom - the bathroom was ours, but not ensuite, so it was a little bit of hassle to walk out of the room and in the bathroom.
We stayed there during the summer 2020 (june) when it was really hot, so it was a bit of downside that the place didn't have aircon, but thankfully the street was relatively quiet so we could sleep with the window open.

Cosy small b&b

A small and cosy b&b with friendly owners. We were in room 2, which ment that our bathroom was in the hallway. This was not a problem for us. Travelling with a acquaintance, I even enjoyed the privacy of a bathroom not in the bedroom!
The breakfast was simple but good and ready to be found in the fridge at 8 o'clock. You can park on the street but need to buy a parkingticket from the owner for 50kr (valid for 7 days!).
One thing bothered me in our room (nr 2).. Around dinnertime, a very strong smell of food came into our room.. it was so strong it was unplesend. It seemed to come in through a closet next to the door. We didn't put our clothes there because it smells funny all day.. Now we knew why! We even had to open the windows, eventhough it was cold outside. Maybe something to work on for the future...?
