A real favorite! As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed as friends and since then it has become much more than just an address, it is a beautiful meeting.
The house is very cozy, tastefully decorated worthy of Egypt and full of good waves! We really eat too well! homemade dishes, generous and full of flavors.
A little extra for musicians: the place is open to creativity, music, (guitar on site) and feel free to take yours if you can! and to all cultures. We feel free, inspired and at home.
A big thank you to our host, Bassam who became my friend, for his Welcoming, availability, kindness and interest in these hosts! An address to keep precious that I strongly advise!

A cozy family home

The place was amazing. It was like a cozy family house. The rooms have shared bathrooms but they are very clean. The rooms have strong wifi signal. The best part of our stay was the Nubian dinner followed by a jamming session of traditional Nubian music with hot piping jabana coffee. It was so soothing to our souls. Mr.bassam was so helpful and conversations with him were very enriching. The place is also very near to public ferry service. But the only trouble we had was reaching the place by road. So, booking private tours to abu simbel or elsewhere will cost little more as we have to be transported to the other bank early in the morning. Even direct pickups from this location will be charged more. But the extra money is worth the stay in this place as it is away from the east bank hustle. If you want to experience Nubian culture you can stay here.

Recommended if you want to spend a relaxing time in Aswan!!

I visited with a friend from Japan. Due to the itinerary, we could only stay one night, but it was a Guest house where you could stay for any number of nights. The Guest house is located about a 3-minute walk from the dock. When we arrived, we were first ushered to the roof and treated to a welcome drink. In the evening, they took us to the nearby hills, where we enjoyed the amazing scenery. Dinner will be served on the roof. It was quite hearty with fish dishes. Dinner was followed by traditional coffee hospitality. Coffee was roasted from beans, and around the fire, we chatted. Communication is not a problem as English is understood. The coffee had a strong ginger flavor and was delicious. I've had more than one refill. Breakfast is also on the roof. It was hearty and delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. Baths and toilets will be shared, but there will be several places, so there will be no problem. There is also a hot shower and a brand new hair dryer that you just bought. It was quite comfortable. There are no shops selling alcohol near the Guest house (in the village). If you want to drink alcohol during your stay, we recommend you buy it before boarding the ferry. It was only a short time, but I have been very helpful. Thank you very much.

perfect sumptuous

everything is perfect. the person picked me up at the airport as planned. our overnight arrival at the hotel was beautiful with all the lights and welcome. fantastic meal. very nice rooms with night noise . splendid view . we simply liked everything and feet in the sand!!!!

Best experience

Best place for staying in Egitto. The nicest and wormiest people and the location brings so much peace. If you like to know local people and enjoy community spaces, it’s your place. 100% recommended. Special mention to the incredible food and Nubian coffee. Hope to come back!
