Nice boutique type hotel along the Nile with great views. Highly recommend.

This small modern chic boutique style hotel is located along the Nile River. It is a great spot that was easy to find and beautiful views of the river from both the hotel restaurant and our balcony. We were greeted and assisted as soon as we exited our vehicle. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well kept as was our room. The room was also very spacious and beds were comfortable. We ordered room service and tried a little bit of everything. We ordered the Nile Joy pizza, the Classic burger, strawberry cheesecake, molten cake, and some drinks. Everything was very tasty. Would order it all again. The portions were quite big so we could’ve really shared everything but loved trying all of it. Highly recommend staying at Nile Villa if you are looking for a nice central place to stay along the Nile with great views and isn’t too far away from the airport.

good location and fine

Very nice and helpful staff and beds were also comfortable. So far everything was clean, but the hotel is already very old and should be renovated.

Bad choice and no value for the money paid!

Do not trust the photos! The hotel is extremely run down and very dirty. The staff are trying, but to no avail. The breakfast is terrible and the serving staff are loud.
The location is not good and it's too pricey for what they offer. Not worth the money!

Good hotel with friendly English speaking staff

Stayed for 3 days after an Egypt tour - an opportunity to relax and see a few sights prior to return home.
I was welcomed politely and offered a pleasant roomon the 2nd floor - lift is small but quick. Staff were very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of English.
The room was a good size with a small balcony overlooking the river - not a great view but interesting to see the sun rise over the city. Bed was large and comfortable with a firm mattress. Shower was strong enough and toiletries OK.
Location was basically good It was convenient for cabs to various attractions.
Breakfast was very good with options for western or local dishes, flexible for guests needs and friendly helpful staff. Good Turkish coffee.
The surrounding area was low level and the approach to the hotel is unkempt. I found no good restaurant in walking distance. Served on the terrace by the river.

worst breakfast service ever. messed up the rooms booking, too.

the hotel is ok, probably not the best value for its money, but clean
they messed up our rooms, so the first few days they gave us a triple instead of double plus single. it was very uncomfortable especially the first night when we arrived at 3 am after our flight and we had to wait to have the third bed because it was an added bed in a double room and they hadn't made it.
the man at the reception apologised.
however, the breakfast service is unacceptable. we placed our orders the night before and still had to repeat it to them at least 5 times AND wait for a hour and a half to be served.
Last day was absolutely the worst. they even served other tables which got there later before us.
after an hour and a half came my wafer, super thin and inconsistent and covered in syrup (which was way too sweet). I asked for some normal chocolate to eat with the bread they had brought with the Egyptian breakfast and they didn't bring it. we asked for a croissant and it took an additional 45 minutes. by then we had to leave so I asked for take away, told them both (the manager and the waiter) not to put the syrup on it and they still did.
imagine losing 2 hours in your last morning in Cairo and still getting out of here very unsatisfied.
