Beautiful rooms
Upon arrival we were delighted to find that we had been given a room upgrade; the room was spacious, extremely clean & comfortable. Having a fridge in the room was a useful touch. Unfortunately the noisy locals nearby (cockerels) woke me up extremely early with their crowing, but that is beyond the control of the hotel & I would otherwise have slept well.
The food in the restaurant was disappointing, it wasn't very appetising & I was also given the wrong order. In fairness, I didn't complain to the staff when I realised as we had a flight to catch & the food had taken a long time to arrive so there would have been no time for them to correct the order. The roof terrace has where the food is served has a lovely view of the pyramids.
Despite our limited interactions with them, the staff seemed very friendly, warm & helpful. Overall I would highly recommend staying at La Veranda
