Familiar and friendly

I have been visiting Cairo regularly for the last couple of years but, here at Horus, we spent a couple of wonderful days with the help of a friendly and welcoming staff.
The way they treated us was warmer than any place other.
The rooms are clean and warm in winter, and the bathrooms are also.
There are open shared areas too.
Moreover, the price is competitive compared to other hotels and places in the area, which is one of the best -if not the best- in Ciro
Overall, We enjoyed our staying.

tip all the time, it's kind of impressive.

I had made arrangements for them to pick me up at the airport, I waited more than an hour and then I took a taxi to go to the hotel, they had forgotten the appointment. On the morning of departure they put us in three on the same taxi and we paid as for three taxis that is 22 euros each , to note that the taxi on the road costs 8 eu to go to the airport. In short, they profit on everything , however the room (85 and ) was comfortable and clean, the breakfast better to keep quiet.

Amazing host

The hotel is situated in a building in a quiet street of Zamalek, on the 4th floor. It is very well maintained, rooms are very clean. There is beautiful terrace available for guests, with a calming view.
Great location and the most important, host is really friendly, helpful and professional.
Special thanks to Mr Michael and his colleagues.
It was a very pleasant stay and we highly recommend it!

Comfy quaint hotel with an authentic Zamalek experience

This is a small hotel located in the center of Zamalek, a historic area known for having many embassies and foreign residents. The hotel has classic decor and furniture, with a few rooms which are newly renovated called "superior" rooms. The staff will make you feel special and the receptionist is available 24/7. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of a primarily residential building, and is close to shops and restaurants. This is a great hotel for an extended stay.

very poor attitude & services

The place located in Zamalek which is one of the most beautiful areas in Cairo (but the location of the hotel is not .. very noisy outside & can't open windows & no views at all) Rooms are clean, breakfast was ok.
For a 3 Stars Hotel it's expensive (60$ per night) they serve nothing deserves that!
& When i asked for a boiler I've been told i must move to another room with extra 15$ per night! & This other room was nothing different of mine!! So, 15$ for a boiler is too much .. i bought one for less than 4$ guys.
& The worst ever were the guys in Reception!! I don't know if they are naturally like that or i got this bad attitude of them because I'm a Muslim Egyptian!! i hope it's not a kind of Racism because that's what i felt especially they were smiling to each one else (ladies got so many welcomes & kind attitude)
In General, after 2 nights, i don't recommend it all..
