A modern pyramid in Cairo

The Intercontinental was the designated post cruise hotel for us. As IHG members we are really enjoy and try to stay at Intercontinentals whenever we can. The location seemed ideal from what we could sense and upon entering the lobby we were impressed with the lobby and luxury feel of this property. Upon check in they recognized our IHG status and offered an upgrade which we accepted and added the lounge access. Almost always the lounge is well worth it but this property had a disappointing lounge facility. The room was lovely and modern on the level with the lounge. The classic rooms are a bit dated. The restaurant was spacious and food was plentiful. It overlooked the pool area which looked fantastic but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Overall this property is recommended as it is one of the bets in Cairo and seemed to be the place to be for locals as well.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was impressed by every aspect of the experience. The location is excellent, offering convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and key attractions, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers.
The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm, elegant, and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt relaxed and well cared for. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay.
The hotel offers great value for money, providing high-quality accommodations and services at a reasonable price. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness standards; every area of the hotel was spotless and meticulously maintained.
The service was outstanding. The staff were professional, friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly enhanced my overall experience.
The hotel’s amenities are excellent, including well-maintained facilities that add comfort and convenience to the stay. Everything was thoughtfully designed to ensure guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would gladly return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, an excellent location, and outstanding hospitality.

Will always stay here, when travelling to Cairo

I stayed 5 nights on a business trip, in Cairo Intercontinental 1 City Stars Cairo.
Everything, from Check in to Check out was excellent.
I, being a platinum member if IHG, they upgraded me to a suite.
This was very special for my stay.
Breakfast was always very elaborate.
I was, given, access, to Club lounge, and they prepared very good vegetarian food for me every day
I must say Special thanks to all staff, and Mr.Hani, for the same
My flight was late in the evening, and Mr. Omaj Magdy at front desk, gave me a late check out time.
He, is very nice, and amazing PR.

Recommended hotel in Catliro
