Amazing!
We stayed here in November with our family, including our two children and my parents. My father and I had an amazing time diving on the house reef. It is truly a beautiful dive site. The food was also absolutely delicious with lots of variations, and the bungalows were clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
We stayed in a family bungalow, which had an extra bedroom for the children, making it perfect for our family.
I would definitely give this hotel 5 stars and will certainly be coming back!

Mövenpick El Quseir: beautiful reef, but a long transfer from Hurghada Airport
The hotel complex is very nice, quiet, clean, and not overcrowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially beautiful is the reef right by the beach, ideal for snorkeling and diving.
However, the journey from Hurghada to El Quseir is quite long. Therefore, we booked a private transfer with HurghadaTransfer.de, which made the trip significantly more pleasant. The vehicle was private, direct, and comfortable, without long wait times or stops.
Our room was rather small. The third bed was placed across the two single beds, which significantly restricted the space in the room. In our view, the room and bathroom no longer meet the standard of a 4- to 5-star hotel. The bed linens were not changed during the week.
The breakfast buffet was good. However, the warm dishes at dinner often tasted similar. Additional drinks and special evening events were rather expensive.
Overall, the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir is a beautiful, quiet complex with a great house reef, especially for guests seeking snorkeling, diving, and relaxation.

Dreamlike from A to Z
We have now been to the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir for the second time since 2022 and were once again completely convinced. The quality of the entire resort, the excellent and very diverse food, as well as the consistently friendly staff made our vacation unforgettable once again. We will definitely come back!
Culinary
The food was excellent throughout our entire stay.
We would particularly like to highlight the Seagull’s Restaurant – the food there was outstanding and is an absolute recommendation.
At Al Fresco, the portions are very generous. Pasta and risotto were very good, and the pizza can also be recommended, even though it cannot quite compare to a real Italian pizza. However, the daily fish was sensational.
During lunch, we often enjoyed the cozy atmosphere at the Diver’s Club. The cheeseburger is highly recommended. The other dishes also looked excellent, and we saw only satisfied faces among the other guests. By the way, you can also treat the dive guides to a Mövenpick ice cream here.
Special praise goes to Hamza. He was constantly on the move, ensuring that everything around the Diver’s Club, including the restrooms and showers, was impeccably clean at all times. Hats off!
We had most of our dinners in the main restaurant, Orangerie. We never lacked anything there, and the quality of the food was outstanding. For this reason, we will probably prefer not to step on the scale immediately at home.
Tennis & Sports
In addition to my diving gear, I also brought my tennis racket. Ahmed, the tennis instructor, is very friendly, and we had some good lessons together. I would have wished for slightly newer tennis balls.
I cannot assess whether the facility is suitable for higher skill levels. However, for me as an R7 player, it was optimal.
In addition to the two tennis courts, there are also padel and squash courts. It would be nice to have small fun tournaments once a week.
Diving
The dive center is well organized. I particularly liked the new system where you can conveniently book dives via WhatsApp.
The guides – led by Memo – as well as the boat driver Zeko provided us with some unforgettable dives. Thank you very much for that!
Conclusion
We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last minute. The excellent food, the friendliness of the entire team, the cleanliness, and the great atmosphere make the Mövenpick El Quseir a very special place for us. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely recommended!!
After visiting this hotel for the first time 23 years ago, we combined it this year with a Nile cruise.
A lot has changed, but not in the rooms, which are still relatively small and fall short compared to the hotel's overall standard.
Otherwise, the hotel is at the top of our list of visited Egyptian beach hotels (a total of 17 different ones). This is mainly due to the outstanding quality of the cuisine, which meets European standards.
The beach is very nice and the house reef is easily accessible. The latter is nice, but offers nothing special for the ambitious snorkeler.
We had all-inclusive and were quite satisfied with the (local) drinks.
Overall, it was such a successful stay that a third visit cannot be ruled out.
