Good experience

Excellent experience at this hotel located in a quiet area, 5 minutes by taxi from the Temple of Luxor; there are a couple of streets nearby with a good selection of restaurants (Loqma is highly recommended).
The room was fine, a bit dated but in order, spacious with a terrace overlooking the Nile; all the rooms are like that... Bathroom with a shower in the tub; I found the marble a bit slippery. The hotel gives an impression of grandeur in the common areas, in good condition and spacious without particular pretensions for finishes and details. Decent breakfast, various local handmade pastries with a fair selection of flavors, a bit lacking in classic savory options but with several Middle Eastern dishes. There is no coffee machine or similar, but the instant coffee in packets was still good.
The pool is very nice, overlooking the Nile with breathtaking sunsets.
There is a lot of staff present, always friendly or at most indifferent to the guests because they are busy talking or looking at their phones...
Recommended, especially considering the more than reasonable prices offered.

The staff was great and very helpful. They allowed us to check in at 11:00 which was great after a long flight. They can arrange transportation and tours as well.

Good location with Nile River view. Breakfast is sub-standard with very limited variety and so so quality food.

Value for money is right

We stayed with the family in Luxor for culture, shopping and to relax a bit. We stayed at the Lotus Hotel. The house is a bit old, but offers a good performance for the offered price. Notable is the very friendly and helpful staff. We had the junior suite with Nile view. It offered a good view and we were pleased with the decision. The gastronomy concept in terms of breakfast and bar is, however, in need of improvement. You could offer more and get out of it accordingly. The Hotel Internet is like everywhere in Egypt to forget. I recommend purchasing a local Sim card.
