The best experience ever ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything exceeded our expectations.
Our room was beautiful, with a breathtaking sea view. The ocean is crystal clear and incredibly beautiful. It is the perfect place for snorkeling and diving. We were lucky enough to see sea turtles and fish of every color—it truly felt like swimming in an aquarium!
The natural surroundings are simply stunning. The place is peaceful, lush, and surrounded by amazing scenery, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.
The pool was spotless, and the water park was fantastic and so much fun for both adults and children. There were always plenty of activities to enjoy, with new ones organized every day. The entertainment team was amazing—friendly, enthusiastic, and always making sure everyone had a great time.
The staff were outstanding: always smiling, kind, professional, and ready to help with anything. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more special.
There were also several shops where we could buy beautiful souvenirs, which was a nice bonus.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely hotel, kent up well with the amenities. Great staff who work with passion and make shure the guests are happy. Great coral reef easily accessible straight from the beach. A second home by now and many more trips to come.

A place we like to return to

We were in Malikia for the 8 time. We were very satisfied with hotel services, which are steadily improving - especially cuisine. Staff of the hotel was very friendly. The best at the place is the sandy beach with access to 2 coral reefs. The reef can be reached also by a jetty. We can honestly recommend this hotel, especially for families with kids.

Beautiful bay but animal welfare at risk

I visited the Malikia Resort Abu Dabbab and am deeply concerned about the treatment of animals on site. In the bay, I was able to observe how protected sea turtles were touched by tourists and the rare dugongs (sea cows) were massively harassed. Unfortunately, the hotel and the guides intervene far too little here to protect the marine wildlife.
Even worse is the situation of the livestock directly on the hotel grounds/beach: The camels and donkeys have to stand in the blazing heat all day without sufficient shelter. One donkey in particular was tied up so extremely short and tight that it could not even lie down. That is pure animal cruelty!
I urgently appeal to the management to immediately provide shade, water, and species-appropriate care for the animals and to monitor the snorkelers more strictly. As long as nothing changes here, I cannot recommend this resort under any circumstances.
