This property was stunning and had gorgeous views everywhere you turned. It is very tastefully decorated and the morning breakfasts overlooking the ocean is magical. The bed and room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was large and the room was very comfortable for all 3 of us. It was an amazing stay for us and the little boat ride into the city was always beautiful and the boat drops you off basically right at the doorstep of the hotel. We also ate at the restaurant and the menu was very tasty. I highly recommend staying here if you want a luxurious, yet fitting trip to the Galapagos.

Definitely not 4 star !
This is classed as a 4 star hotel! It is so not 4 star . We booked ‘the best room’ in the hotel , or so we thought . It overlooked the kids football pitch which was very noisy with kids playing football . It had no chairs on the balcony and it was overlooked by the building site next door, so much so you couldn’t get in and out of the shower without being seen ! We had paid over £300 a night for this room. We asked to be moved to another room (which was cheaper ) and asked for a refund . The owner refused ! We then got into the new room and during our first shower the bathroom flooded due to a blocked drain. The water also soaked our cases in the bedroom ! The loo seat was wobbly , the wardrobe for 2 people was 18 inches wide and the wood on the windows was rotting . The balcony had 2 chairs but you couldn’t sit next to each other as the balcony was so narrow, so not enjoyable . There was no kettle in the room so we had to go downstairs to the breakfast room for hot water whenever we wanted a drink .The first room had a tv but no tv in the second room . As for the pool area , don’t be fooled by the glossy photos , it is cramped , overlooked by builders next door , and very scruffy area around the pool ( a dirty towel in the shower area stayed there for 6 days ) and we saw no one using the pool in our 9 day visit (we certainly didn’t ) . The breakfast was so uninteresting and repetitive : Fruit , cereal , yoghurt , a weird cake , and fried eggs and sausages or bacon and potato EVERY day .- that’s it !The breakfast area didn’t feel particularly clean ( see pics).I also got 2 powerful electric shocks from the stairwell wall . I reported it and I think the maintenance guy fixed it but I didn’t feel confident enough to place my hand there again ! This ‘hotel’Feels more like a hostel . So very disappointing for our trip of a lifetime

Nice location on the beach and the staff were kind but there was no hot water in the room. We complained and were moved but after experiencing one hot shower in the room we moved to, it went cold again. The rooms were noisy. There was drilling going on and you could hear noise from the other guests. Breakfast was reasonable but the coffee was horrible.

Amazing hotel in a magical place! Convenient location; excellent breakfast; rooms with a great view; and helpful staff who can arrange tours / whatever you need. Highly recommend :)

Staff were great, location on the beach really nice, rooms were comfortable and clean, continental breakfast was also good!
