Awesome place to stay 5*********

We are on day 3 of our 6 night stay here and it is very very highly recommended.
Set in the hills of Pinas away from all the noise and hassle and bustle of the town.
The views are spectacular and it is very peaceful and relaxing.
The rooms are very very clean and very comfortable we couldn’t ask for any more and it has a very homely feeling which is awesome.
The owners of this place feel like family and have made us feel very very welcome.
They have made us food and drink of the highest quality for breakfast and dinner.
I cannot recommend this place any higher by words.
You have to try it yourself to see what I mean.

Estamos en el día 3 de nuestra estancia de 6 noches aquí y es muy recomendable.
Ubicado en las colinas de Pinas lejos de todo el ruido y la molestia y el bullicio de la ciudad.
Las vistas son espectaculares y es muy tranquilo y relajante.
Las habitaciones son muy, muy limpias y muy cómodas, no pudimos pedir más y tiene una sensación muy hogareña que es increíble.
Los propietarios de este lugar se sienten como en familia y nos han hecho sentir muy bienvenidos.
Nos han hecho comida y bebida de la más alta calidad para el desayuno y la cena.
No puedo recomendar este lugar más alto por palabras.
Tienes que intentarlo tú mismo para ver a qué me refiero.
Muchas gracias por hacernos tan bienvenidos.

Perfect little gem

Everything about this place was wonderful; we were warmly greeted on arrival by the owners and settled in to our room.
Room itself was basic with no frills but comfortable enough and had a wonderful view of the surrounding valley/mountains.
We enjoyed a home cooked dinner by the owners wife, which was very tasty.
There was no beer when we asked but the owner had his sin drive down into the town and pick some up for us - they went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel at home!
After the dinner, we all sat round a fire and enjoyed conversation in broken English/Spanish - we definitley felt welcomed!

Great View, excellent coffee, Paul is #1 concierge in Ecuador

Highly recommend. This family-owned hosteria exceeded our expectations! Paul, at reception, took the service of concierge to a whole new level. There was no question he could not answer because if he didn't know he took the initiative to find out for us quickly. Plus this warm and friendly family effectively assisted us as our Spanish translators when negotiating the best prices for cabs, helping with bus schedules, etc. The rooms were very clean with a spectacular view of Piñas. the hosteria is approximately a $2 cab ride from the center of Piñas. The food was excellent, local and organic. Very impressed with the large fresh salad we had both nights and the excellent coffee each morning. Pleasantly surprised to discover we had the use of a washer/dryer free of charge. Breakfast is included. Dinner is an optional extra but very good value in a very nice clean setting.
Jocotoco Buenaventura Reserve is only a $15 taxi away and worth a visit for half a day to checkout the hummingbirds among many other varieties of birds . The Piñas/Zaruma region in El Oro province is a wonderfully scenic and enchanting area to visit for a few days to breakup a trip to Loja from Guayaquil.

A Beautiful Hotel

This is a small family run hotel in a beatiful location. The owner and his son speak good English and the owner's wife is a very good cook. We ate breakfast and lunch there. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. Diinner was very reasonable and exceptional. The owner's wife takes pride in using local organic produce. It was a little difficult to find but the owner drove to town to lead us to the hosteria. It's in a beautiful location that over looks the pretty little city of Piñas.

an excellent accomodation option in Piñas

I was really pleased and excited about Florecer. A beautiful location, great accomodations and excellent service. A warm and overall unforgetable experience.The food is delicious and it´s one of the most beautiful views of the city. Great place for families with kids, a lovable, friendly golden retriever waits to greet everyone.
