A paradisiacal and natural place to enjoy in the company of loved ones

The Hotel Boutique Playa Canela is definitely a paradisiacal place, right by the sea, in Salinas, Ecuador. We arrived with my mom and her friend and they welcomed us with very kind and warm treatment, especially from the owner. Inside the hotel there are all kinds of home-like services: comfortable rooms, a jacuzzi, and a pool, where you can bathe while you enjoy the beautiful view of the sea; and delicious traditional dishes to taste. Also, for animal lovers, there is a great variety of them, which makes this place a natural oasis that is hidden in this Ecuadorian canton. Without a doubt, another time we have the chance, we will visit it again.

Must stay - A Hidden Gem Near Salinas

Playa Canela Hotel Boutique is a tranquil oasis just 10 minutes from Salinas. As someone who spends a lot of time travelling and in hotels, I can confidently say this is one of the best I’ve experienced. The service is exceptional, with a warm and personal touch. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to share tips on where to go and even help you get there.
The peaceful setting, just 50 meters from the sea, allows you to hear the gentle sound of the waves from your room a perfect escape for relaxation. It’s an ideal spot for a long stay to explore the surrounding area or even a weekend getaway from Guayaquil. If you visit between July and September, you’ll have the chance to enjoy whale watching as well!

I wasn't wrong to choose Playa Canela Hotel Boutique for my vacation. Without exaggeration, this is a hidden paradise with spectacular views. The owner and staff treat you like family, are very attentive to your needs, and the breakfast is excellent. I definitely recommend it and would return for my next vacation.

Very nice stay
We visited them from Lima, Peru. Good hotel, very friendly and friendly treatment. We were served by the same owners. Cozy and clean place. We were practically alone as we stayed from Tuesday to Thursday. Direct access to the sea. Very well maintained garden area. Highly recommended.
