Relaxing environment!

Fra Mare Thalasso Spa Hotel is located a few kilometers west of Haapsalu city center. There is a walking path signposted with "Fra Mare Spa" from Bus and railway station where the road follows the seashore. Great parking facilities outside the hotel! Very good service and the food was very appreciated!

For a good three.

The hotel is not good, the rooms are small and the extra fold-out chair for the baby is uncomfortable, we had legs bent over, and if an adult sat down, it fell over.
The pool is too simple, with no lighting effects and no music. The water in the only whirlpool is cold. Bath approx. Breakfast is delicious, lots of things. There is also an evening buffet for 18 euros, but we did not like it, it was better to order separate dishes in the restaurant, it is inexpensive. It's good to have dinner in the buffet for a child, you pay only 7 euros before the age of 12. The rooms weren't cleaned for 3 days. Well, it's a good three.

Stay away!

Let's start with the positive – good location at the sea (with a view if you book the more expensive category), no traffic around, good bed. That's it.
The service is terrible, zero friendliness or help. Showed up for the morning swim shortly before official ending time (because of water gymnastics for 4 people...) and were sent back, eventually allowed to the outdoor pool.
The rooms are small, every detail is wrong (bad lighting solutions, no power outlets where you need them, noisy fridge, bathroom with a miniature sink, the handrail on the balcony exactly blocking the view when seated).
The outdoor pool is too small really for swimming but ok, the saunas have each one a cranked up speaker installed with the worst sound playing the worst background nonsense. No cold tub, no cold shower, no hose to clean the steam sauna.
Breakfast buffet is bad, coffee is from an instant machine and they charge you extra for a normal americano from the bar. Breakfast room must have one of the main air conditioning devices on the roof as the space feels like an airplane about to take off.
This was the first and last visit.

Nice hotel

Located in a beautiful bay within a forest, nice beach right behind the hotel. Rooms and bed were rather good even though they are not looking very modern. Toilet even contains a shower for hygiene of the private parts. Spa area looks by far more modern, whirlpool and small swimming pool available. Gym is with old equipment but quite good compared to what you see in other hotels even though it cannot be compared with a real fitness center.
Buffet for breakfast was a little bit poor in my eyes. In addition they served some fruit salad which seems to be made from canned fruit. Better if you take the fresh fruit which are served in the bucket next to it.

No value for money

Awful people working there. Room cleaning is very . Fist picture is closed outdoor pool. We can't understand that. Second picture is after room day cleaning. We left this hotel one day earlier because the whole atmosphere there is so awful.
