Home away from home

Always a brilliant experience . A home away from home . Special mention the restaurant staff , warm , friendly , caring and very innovative catering food as per taste .

Okay for one night but not for a vacation

Rough staff especially for transit passengers. Very poor food. Shuttle's not on time. Everything has to be reviewed.

We've been back three times.

We had a group tour of Ethiopia with five flights around the country. When we returned to Addis Ababa, we stayed at the Getfam Hotel. The hotel has a good location, is close to the centre, not very far from the airport, there are numerous shops within walking distance. Returned to the hotel three times, and each time we expected good service, the staff did everything possible, and even more, to make our stay comfortable. When we had an early flight, we were given breakfast two hours before the restaurant opened, and we could also use the free storage room and leave extra items that we wouldn't need on the flight to another part of the country. The only complaint about the rooms, they all needed repairs, we checked into a new room every time, and everyone had flaws. One has very outdated furniture, all shabby, the other has faulty plumbing, the third has a bit of both. But in general, thanks to the service staff, my impression of the hotel is positive.

Staff were excellent. The pool is murky and needs cleaning. Some of the flooring around the pool is loose and is safety hazard. The lift needs maintenance and the doors are not aligned properly. Directional signs are needed inside the lift and parking. Food is excellent and cleanness is good

dont go thert

A horrible hotel- they lied that they have food that I can eat (I have restrictions on food) and they didny had that food. They just lied in order to get more clients- and I had to fast because of them fr 12 hours!
and also the room didnt have AC nor toilet paper
