Boutique charm with an unbeatable view
Staying at Naveria Heights Lodge was an unforgettable, relaxing, serene experience. Naveria Heights Lodge is literally in the jungle perched on a ledge of a small mt providing an extraordinary view of Savusavu Bay. The location is phenomenal—it’s tucked away for privacy, yet conveniently close (walking distance) to Savusavu.
The complimentary breakfast—featuring fresh local fruit, yogurt, and eggs upon request—was the perfect way to start the day.
My room was well decorated, clean, spacious and had the perfect bed and linen. Very comfortable. It’s best feature, imho, was its outdoor style bathroom that felt part of the jungle.
I did the jungle waterfall and volcano hot spring excursions. Each were an unforgettable experience.
If you are looking for a unique comfortable place to stay, an escape from the hustle of life….Naveria Heights Lodge delivers. Highly recommended.

Paradise on Earth
Sharon Wild has created a Fijian paradise.Her lodge, at the top of the hill, is a gorgeous retreat from the day to day grind of working in an office or living in a city. I felt enveloped by this tropical haven.
The atmosphere is homey and relaxed; the breakfast delicious: fresh breads, pancakes, large bowls of tropical fruit, moringa juice, fresh honey from her private bee hives. Our bedroom was comfortable and the pool area a perfect space to sunbathe.
I also highly recommend setting up an adventure day with Sharon. She took us on a beautiful hike which led to a swimming hole. I swam underneath a waterfall! We then hiked to a natural hot spring and covered ourselves in medicinal mud.
Finally, our family represented three generations and we all fell in love with Sharon and the beauty and adventure she provides.

Heaven
Stunning views and absolute peace and serenity are what you can expect. Along with beautiful rooms and a luxurious property set in lush forest surroundings. It is up on a hill with a few steps but that’s why you get the heavenly views. A most delicious breakfast and a perfect host Sharon who is knowledgeable, friendly and zen! I loved my stay and can’t wait to return.

In our experience, this lodge was not transparent, unreliable, and at the end even threatening.
Stayed 5 nights with a friend
Unfortunately, our stay at Naveria Heights Lodge was not a good experience, and I would not recommend it.
First of all, the lodge is only reachable by a 4-wheel drive. Walking is not safe at all: the path is extremely steep, the stairs are slippery, guardrails are broken, and in some places there are even nails sticking out. We slipped and fell several times. Luckily, we only had bruises, but it could have ended much worse.
Because of the steep and dangerous access road and the need for a 4-wheel drive, you can barely leave the property. You are basically stuck up there. On top of that, there are hidden transportation costs: each short ride to the main road (about 2 minutes) costs 20 FJD per way, which is extremely expensive and was not communicated transparently.
I tried to book a massage during our stay. It was postponed multiple times, once for more than two hours, and in the end it never happened because the massage therapist could not come up due to the steep driveway.
We also asked for help organizing a dive trip. A staff member named Sunil told us everything was arranged with the dive shop and school, but it turned out it was not. As a result, we did not get what we asked for and still had to pay.
What worried us most: people in Savusavu town warned us about staying there, and unfortunately they were right. On our last day, we were even threatened by Sunil, who said they would keep our luggage if we didn’t pay extra fees. This made us feel genuinely scared and uncomfortable.
Overall, the situation became stranger and more uncomfortable with each passing day. This is especially sad because Fijian people are generally incredibly kind and welcoming, which made this experience stand out in a very negative way.
Strong recommendation: look for another place to stay. In our experience, this lodge was not transparent, unreliable, and at the end even threatening. We wish we had listened to the locals’ advice.

Beautiful holiday in Fiji
We stayed for 2 weeks at Naveria Heights Lodge and had a great time.
The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were as great as you felt at home.
You can book many different trips such as walking to a waterfall and bathing there.
The rooms were always very clean and were cleaned every day.
The view was breathtaking and unique!
We will definitely come back!
