Awesome experience
Such a magical place from the food to the staff to the ocean. Every snorkel was beautiful including the reef right out front. The staff was so kind and inviting, feel like they were all friends by the time we left. The food was amazing very meal was better than the last. Would highly recommend coconut beach resort. We will definitely be coming back to this place again!

Were do I begin with a review? The staff at Coconut Beach are absolutely fantastic! It is very hard to even mention names because everyone was so special. Vada, Api, Beta, Phillip everyone was so special! The accommodations were exactly as described and the food through our three days was amazing. We had one with allergies and they were very attentive. Unfortunately the wind blew for all three days we were there, however we still enjoyed all of the excursions we had wanted. We went to the caves, snorkeled at Coco Beach which was amazing and snorkeled the house reef. The House reef is great and we were lucky enough to see “George” the resident white tip shark.
Dua was also one of the highlights of the trip. We took many long strolls on the beach with her. She is a fantastic dog and we became very attached in our short stay. We would recommend Coconut Beach 100% to anyone looking for a stay in the wonderful Yasawa Islands!!

We really enjoyed our stay super helpful and nice staff and the food was great. The reef outside of the hotel was wonderful, full of colorful corals and fishes.

10/10 Experience
My family had an amazing time here! The property is beautiful, comfortable beds and a wide range of amenities. The staff are warm, kind and go above and beyond to make sure all guests are having an excellent experience (the night time activities were so much fun, especially trivia night and the crab race). We went hand line fishing (the chef prepared the fish that my son caught for our family and it was excellent), snorkeling (saw sharks which was a first for us), and to the Sawa-i-Lau Caves (a must experience). Also, book a massage with Anna, she's fabulous! The meals were absolutely delicious - stand outs were seared tuna and kokoda (ceviche)- and we really appreciated that the chef prepared meals that met my son's dietary needs (celiac). We are so thankful to have stayed at such an amazing place and spend time with such wonderful people. Vinaka!

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE
Although I waited almost a year to write this review, it does not mean that I have forgotten about the wonderful experience my family and I had at Coconut Beach Resort. The positive aspects of our stay started with my interactions with Sheung during the booking process. She provided quick and thorough responses and answered the numerous questions I had and even reserved transportation to and from the resort on our behalf. She also catered to all of our dietary needs, especially for my son who has allergies and food texture issues.
We chose to travel to the resort by helicopter because it was a very fast and scenic ride and the four-hour boat ride on our way back to the main land. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by welcoming staff who escorted us to our beautiful, spacious and nicely decorated beach front bures (cabins). The fact that there are only a total of 11 bures made our stay more relaxing and personal. We were also pleasantly surprised about having a secluded beach with chairs and a hammock right at our doorstep.
The meals offered were delicious, plentiful and served on a schedule to ensure ample time for activities and tours. We always looked forward to each meal because we knew that we would not be disappointed. My favorite one was Kokoda, which is Fiji's national dish.
When it comes to activities, there are many to chose from. We swam in the Sawa-I-Lau Caves, snorkeled in a nearby island and visited a school where the students introduced themselves and sang beautiful songs. For my husband and I that visit was very special because both of us are teachers. We also attended a Kava ceremony where my husband was selected as the "chief". In addition, we enjoyed cultural shows and a Sunday morning breakfast serenade courtesy of the lovely staff. The cherry on top was the snorkeling we did for free at the resort. We had never seen such beautiful and colorful fish and coral reefs!
My family and I can't wait to return to this paradise on earth to enjoy all the amenities that this wonderful place has to offer. Many thanks to Sheung, Phil, Bata, Terri and all the other staff who made our vacation so memorable!

Please note that Coconut Beach Resort is accessible via the Yasawa Flyer ferry transfer which departs once every morning from Denarau at 8:45 am only and from Tavewa Island at 1:45pm. If choosing a helicopter transfer to and from mainland Fiji, the latest flight time is 3 pm, however this is subject to availability.
