Nice Hotel with nice View and Swimmingpool
The hotel was very nice and the stuff was so friendly! We really enjoyed! They have a nice swimming pool with view over the mountains. Also the food was good! We highly recommend it! The owners gave us some really good tips and recommendings.

Don't come here!
This hotel was the lowest point of our holiday due to strange and cold reception on arrival, secluded location, dirty pool, dirty bathroom and the first evening someone was sitting in our locked room at our bags.
We arrived at the accommodation and were not really received customer friendly because we were 40 minutes early and they could not find our reservation immediately. It could happen. Because it was reasonably afterwards and our taxi there was not very happy with us we asked if the hotel knew a tuctuc that could take us to the center. They made us wait an hour without any explanation. In the end we were the problem because we were just impatient. When I went to the toilet before leaving I closed the sliding window tightly and saw a sign on the toilet with a different hotel name (namely Vidas Inn instead of Vidas Mountain Stay). I thought that was strange and that triggered me to look for it online. Through booking.com only good reviews but on google was a very strong review from two weeks ago about theft, lies and also fairly aggressive behavior. Doesn’t have to mean that it just happens again but still we took all the money (before we went to dinner), put locks on the bags and my boyfriend took pictures of how we left the bags. When we came back we saw that there were two bags (without lock) attached. You couldn't have seen this with the naked eye, by the way. And there was also a huge gecko all of a sudden inside and a lot of ants in our room. The latter can happen, that gecko didn't just come in. Believe me, it really wasn't there before we left because I always check everything thoroughly on arrival. So they have been 100% inside our room and that the first night / the first moment we were away.
We really didn’t want to stay over anymore and knew about the cancellation fee, so despite not sleeping there we left that money and the money from our drinks (and some more), rang the bell to explain at 9.30 pm (but there was no one left to be seen..) and had us picked up by a taxi and taken to a new hotel.
Two days later I sent a lot of text messages up and down with the owner, who was not present, about everything that had happened. She doesn't believe us and all the time came up with arguments to show that we would we lie. She still hasn't answered any questions about
our question if she saw on cameras if anyone was inside during the time we were away.

Worst experience
Probably our worst hotel stay.
After four months of traveling in Asia, I'd like to point out that this was our worst experience.
Payment is required as soon as you walk in the door, even though we're staying for five days, and in cash, I hadn't even put my bag down yet.
With your bag still on your back, you're asked to choose your breakfast and the time of day it will be served, but you should know that it will be for the entire duration of your stay. If you arrive a little later than the time set on the first day (which you won't be asked to do again), your breakfast will be cold (the breakfasts are neither good nor copious!).
The sheets on arrival were suspiciously stained. We asked for them to be replaced, which annoyed the person in charge of our room - the repeated sighs made it quite clear.
The air-conditioning made the noise of a plane taking off, the bedding was very average, and the only positive point was a fridge to keep food away from the many ants in the room.
We couldn't use the pool because the host's family was present and listening to loud music. There's only one deckchair at the pool.
The rental services offered are more expensive than anywhere else, between 1.5 and twice as much.
The only positive point may be the view, which is very nice indeed.
During our stay, we broke a glass and reported the problem. We were told it wasn't serious at all, but this was charged the 100 pesos demanded by post-it when we left...
We had the sincere feeling that everything was about money and profit for this family, who have no respect for customers or their staff (they speak very badly to them!).

Great quiet place
We enjoyed our time her really. The family which owned this place is absolutely friendly. The breakfast was every morning delicious and it is possible to rent a scooter for a fair price. I highly recommend this place to everyone how want stay on a nice place which is quiet but still not to fare to the town and beach.
