Nice apartment soso location
This was a familiar business model in Manila of a hotel setup renting out apartments in a complex. Checkin was OK. The apartment was good with fridge, microwave, good size bathroom and good wifi.
It was not listed but a simple breakfast was provided and delivered to the room. Tv channels were all local and not interesting.
The location is a little out of the way even though on a main highway, there was little interesting there. There were a number of restaurants in walking distance and Mall of Asia about a 10 minute taxi ride. Quite close to the airport.

Clean and modern
This is my first time sleeping in a capsule/airpod. And i the impression it left is good. First, it’s cheap and near the airport. I needed a place to stay for a night because i had to catch a flight the following day. So no need for fancy hotels that’s far from the airport.
Second, it’s cool, like modern cool. I don’t know if there’s a much better “capsule” out there but this one is good.
Third, it’s clean. I’m not a finicky person. But i like clean. I’d prefer clean above anything else. Even if it’s small as long as it’s clean that’s already a go for me.
They have a shared bathroom. They provide you with slippers and towels and toothbrush and tissue. They have a water heater for tour coffee needs. Cups and saucers come with it.
There’re two charging ports (USB ports) inside the capsule. And two power outlets. Light control. Door lock. AC temp control (more like a fan temp control since it’s not really that cool :( that’s the only downside i saw, but it’s not warm and stuffy either). A safety deposit box which I haven’t tried to open. A strong wifi signal.
Their attendant, Emmy, is also very hospitable and fun.
There’s a Chinese/Korean restaurant downstairs. He building itself is a condominium. Four airpods/capsules are inside one room. They also have a Chinese convenient store.
For those in transit and just needed a nice place to crash, i recommend you stay here. But If you’re more of a “private” person, go find another hotel. Capsules are improved dorm type rooms. You still share it with other people, just a little more private than the dorm type.
I booked this through Agoda and i only paid Php 600.00

Comfortable, Great Staff and Location
We stayed at Crowne Bay Tower twice during this trip. Family and I (spouse, two kids under twelve of age) arrived MNL airport around 2:30AM on a Sunday. Our plans were to fly right back out on Monday afternoon to Boracay. The staff took our suitcases (4) and a set of golf clubs to our room and provided a briefing of the hotel, surrounding and transportation if needed. Breakfast for two was also included even if it wasn’t specified in our reservations. Staff was polite and friendly and made our stay welcome and comfortable. Room comfortable and clean, hot shower, great AC, and great Wi-Fi That same morning after we had breakfast, I asked management If we could leave our suitcases and golf clubs at the Hotel while we backpack it to Boracay for four nights since we made additional reservations to return back to this apartment hotel of Friday. They replied that it was safe to leave them in their storage room and at no additional charge. I couldn’t beat that.

Great location, highly recommended
Spent about a week here in two different rooms which are spacious with comfy beds. Great rooftop pool and decent breakfast. Did see pictures of a gym but there is no gym at this property. Will stay again at this property, City of Dreams is straight across the road, and Solaire, Okada, MOA and Baclaran Markets are all within walking distance or very cheap taxi or Grab. Also close to the airport. Our first room was noisy from traffic so ask for a room not facing COD if this will be a problem.

Okay for one night to be close to the airport and that’s it.
We stayed in the AirPods for one night after arriving in Manila.
I will say that the manager that checked us in was very nice and I appreciated that they supplied free water bottles. The AC in the room was great, but in the pods not so much. Wifi was okay.
The concept of the pods is cool, but ...
The sheets definitely had not been changed. We found long black hairs in both our pods. After we arrived, the cleaning lady was still cleaning the room and I watched her put in the bare minimum effort to “tidy” the room. There were towels hanging in a closet that we assumed were for us until the manager delivered clean towels to us an hour later.
The area around the hotel is not very accessible as you’re right on a 5-lane highway that is always jammed with traffic. Easy enough to get a Grab, but I wouldn’t advise walking anywhere. Also, because it’s located in a condominium building, there are many locals coming and going, and the vibe around the building lobby is not very welcoming. You have to go to the 5th floor to check in. We only found this out because an American guest was waiting for the elevator when we arrived and told us where we needed to go. The hotel rooms are located on the 12th floor.
The layout of the pod rooms are as follows: you walk into the room (using a key code) as though it’s any other hotel room. There are 2 pods right inside the door (accessible by individual keycards that also power on the light & fan inside the pod). We stayed in these pods. Farther into the room there is one bathroom with a toilet & sink and then next to it a bathroom with shower, toilet & sink. There are some shelves across from the bathrooms containing water bottles, a kettle, extra toilet paper etc. Farther down the hall there is a room with 4 additional pods, a table, and a fridge.
With the right roommates, this would be a very functional space. Unfortunately, in our experience, it was not. We were sharing the room with a Japanese couple that had essentially laid claim to the entire space and seemed annoyed that we were there. They had stuff spread out throughout the space effectively limiting us to the nook our pods were located in. They were using both bathrooms and even had a basin full of underwear soaking in the sink (which the cleaning lady cleaned around). We moved the basin onto the floor to use the sink. The next morning the basin was moved into the other bathroom (still full of underwear) and in its placed was the garbage from their meal the night before beside the garbage can literally blocking the bathroom door from being closed.
Our experience is not necessarily indicative of the hotel itself, but I think it’s worth noting.
Overall, this could be a good spot to stay if you’re leaving or arriving from the airport in the middle of night or you have an extended layover. I would not recommend it for anything other than that.
