The people running this place are fantastic and very, very helpful. Siargao, overall, is in need of infrastructure, water, electicity, etc. That is no reflection on this small hotel. It is under renovation, with a pool and updated restaurant going in.
I was disappointed because their older Thai restaurant had great ratings.
Siargao may not be for older people, except to tour around and look at the green. I fell getting out of a canoe (the guide was great and well-informed).
Hand rails for older people are lacking.
I'm an old sailor and did enjoy the boat trip around but don't have my sea legs anymore and was concerned about falling again.
But the hotel was great. It was within walking distance of nearly everything and tuk-tuk ride of everything else.
The people of Siargao were very nice.
