Unforgettable Stay at Shangri-La Mactan

We keep coming back to Shangri-La Mactan because it never really feels like just another hotel stay. It feels familiar. Comfortable. Like being welcomed back home.
This trip was no different.
Ethel Reynoso made the reservation process easy from the start, thank you Ethel. When we arrived, Duff, Diego and the entire Concierge team welcomed us back in a way that immediately made us feel welcome and at home.
Pyche at Tides was her usual cheerful self always smiling, always helpful. Myra in the lobby provided us the comforting welcome. Raymund at Buko Bar and Breeze continues to give the kind of service that stands out without trying too hard. Valarie in Buko bar as well, always helpful, always attentive.
At Ocean Club, Sigmund looked after us so well. He was professional, positive, and always one step ahead whenever we needed something.
One of the highlights for me was Chi Spa. Crizelda’s hilot was easily one of the best I have had. She has such a calming presence, and you can feel that she genuinely cares about what she does. All knots in my back and legs, gone! She truly knows what shes doing!
It is easy to talk about the beach, the grounds, and the facilities here. But the reason this place stays with us is the people.
Thank you to GM Dave Junker and the entire Shangri-La Mactan team. We left with full hearts again.

The rooms I stayed in is very clean with the amenities. It has a pleasant smell were we can feel and smell a clean air of the atmosphere even the aircond.

Jhee Jean in Health and Spa has been very friend, caring, attentive to us. She gave us a wonderful experience as we enjoyed the Jacuzzi, Sauna n Spa. Thank You Jean. We will surely come back.

The hotel is, as always, an excellent place to stay. I make it a point to stay here every time I come home. The food is great, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the oceanfront is the best in the city. I always enjoy my stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
