Super place and a great value!
Fantastic resort! Perfect location and beautiful sunsets and city views! Staff is very friendly and helpful and really made the stay exceptional. Perfect home base for exploring Samal Island and the pool and beautiful and spacious deck are perfect to wake up to and relax after a day of excursions. Highly recommend!

A place of relief , Love it !!!
Very nice place, tranquil, and accessible. We had a very relaxing stay here, with the panoramic view of Davao (especially at sunset), and very friendly staff, they also have a complimentary cake for Mother's Day celebration (thank you soo much). The room is clean and spacious. Perfect place for a quick escape from stress. For sure we will come again.

Great place to stay during summer!
This is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the City. The rooms are spacious and clean. The come with basic cooking and dining utensils and appliances. The TV has a library of movies you can watch when you are tired from swimming in the pool. The pool is clean when we stayed there but its a bit dated and definitely needs some TLC. The price is definitely worth it and the staff are polite and courteous. Also, during our stay, there was a power outage due to the heavy rain. Good thing, they have generator and the power was back on in no time. In the morning, We met the owner and he apologized for the power outage. Overall, we had a great stay and we will be back On December for our Company's strategic planning for year 2020

Not your typical Samal resort
Samal is known for its white sand powdery beaches and clear azure water but if you want to steer clear from the crowd and want to have idyllic stay on top of a hill with superb view of the nearby Davao city then you should book your stay here. The picture can already speak for itself on how spacious and elegant the rooms are. It would have been perfect if not for some issues with the bathroom in the villa. The toilet hs a slight smell perhaps due to the sewage system or maybe they just need to put some deodorizer.all the other bathroom has no issue at all save for this one.
All kitchen needs/utensils are provided for even the dispnser are filled with water daily.
If you dont want to cook no worries since a menu is provided should you opt to order food. I checked the menu and they have a variety of meals to choose from. The place is just a few minutes travel from the barge.
Aside from the toilet i thunk the other issue would be how challenging it is toget a room since it is always fully booked. So if you have plans in the future book it sooner.

Top level resort with great ocean view
This was a real surprise of luxury in every way. The trip from ferry is fairly short and the room was top level. Morning coffee on my deck was dreamy. I sipped some coffee, watch ships cross the bay of Davao and played guitar. We brought food and cooked some amazing meals. The infinity pool was very clean and a pleasure to swim. We took a few car rides to some nearby beach areas. This was a perfect place to recover after the long international flights to the Philippines. Some of the stairs might not be suited for all guests but not a problem for any of us.
