Quiet and relaxing

Peaceful atmosphere, set in the palms on beach. I stayed in a very basic nipa hut, comfortable, fan, mozzie net, balcony with couch and hammock. Certainly not over priced compared to the other resorts on Sugar Beach, and part of the appeal is the lack of large, noisy groups. Good restaurant, with other choices too along the beach. I'll be back :)

Disappointed

We spent two nights here. The huts are pretty run down and badly in need of maintenance. Very over priced, in fairness the whole beach is. Food was good but again five star prices, just crazy prices.
Beach is deserted, nobody around, swimming OK but don't expect white sand. Parking car cost P100 a night.
Would we return definitely no, over rated over priced.

Terrible accomodation

The plas was good for relaxation but it was not good for a Large groups to stay with. POOR CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT. Resort staff have low morale. Staff confided that they are aware of the our problems/suggestions and reported this to the owner, however, despite owner’s knowing it, the system is not improved. Hopefully this will help the management to improve their service

Driftwood Village Resort, Sipalay

The place is good and so the beach. BUT We had a terrible experience here. From reservation of rooms, poor accommodation, terrible staff, poor management, unclear protocol plus they are not really friendly. And also, they are not ready for complaints and issues because they have poor resolution to their valued costumers. Actually, they do not value their guests. And most importantly, NOT FOR LARGE GROUPS. BECAUSE THE STAFF COMPLAINS ACCOMMODATING LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE. Stressful vacay. I regretted traveling at least 8hours just to go to this place. And not even worth it.

Getaway from COVID

Good to be back in this place after so many years and after COVID 19 Travel restrictions were eased here in our province. A better place to unwind with my wife and friends.
Nice laid back life. Staying at their nice and beautiful shack houses All houses has no aircontion for it is thieir resort's concept.
Driftwood can now be accessed easily through Nauhang road via Montilla Market because roads were being constructed to make the sugar beach accessible aside through motor boats from Sipalay City proper.
The staff were great and accomodating as always. They strictly implement COVID 19 Health protocols of the City and of the Province.
