Perfect start to our holiday - hidden gem
Staying at the Cabins LVF was a dream, so lovely in fact, that we stayed there and relaxed all day instead of going to the underground river.
It has been beautifully done, the cabins, the decor is beautiful. The lighting around the farm in the evening is beautiful, a perfect ambience. Everything is very clean.
The ethos behind the farm is wonderful. They produce all organic produce and use that when cooking your breakfast / dinner, which is absolutely delicious. Emily gave us a tour around the farm to show us what they grow and let us smell the herbs. She really has a passion for what she does and loves where she works. Emily also told us that the money made from the produce they sell in market is given to the indigenous people, which is wonderful.
Emily was incredibly helpful in arranging transport etc. She is an asset to the business. There is a wonderful dog which Emily has adopted/rescued who is a gentle nervous soul but comes to life when Emily is around - dogs always know a good person!

its just everything here. the host paul was super nice! he makes all the food by himself and if you need just anything, like a bus or want to go on a tour - he gets it for you :)
you just feel most safe and welcomed here.
We really enjoyed the stay to the fullest and we would always come back here. thanks to the whole farm, who made this an awesome experience.

Beautiful, relaxing stay in Puerto Princesa
We are so happy that we chose to stay with Paul and Beth at their farm. It's set just a little ways out of town, so the location is quiet but still convenient to get into town by van/trike. I loved strolling the grounds after breakfast and checking out all of the beautiful things growing there. The food was fantastic! Every morning we had breakfast with fresh, organic food.
Paul and the staff were great about accommodating my vegan diet, and prepared different breakfast options for everyone in our party of four. There's a brand new pool with a nice shaded area next to it for you to relax in. Paul and Beth couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. They helped us arrange both a firefly tour and the underground river tour. They also arranged for us to have a driver one night when we went into town to have dinner and buy groceries. Beth was out of town when we were there, but Paul was an absolute delight to get to know. The staff were also very kind and helpful.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and we were very happy about the good air conditioning system. We had hot showers and access to WiFi. Since we were a group of four, we stayed in a building that has two rooms and a screened in common space, which was really lovely. It was nice being able to relax with our friends in the common area between outings.
If you want a relaxing stay with delicious food, good conversation, and easy access to all the activities you want to do in/around Puerto Princesa, stay at the Cabins!
*For anyone looking for a good meal in town, especially if you're vegan, check out Ver De Plant Based Cafe. A peaceful oasis
It’s such a beautiful stay with amazing staff. The farm to table dinners were such a highlight for us. Beautiful hammocks and a pool area. This was definitely our favorite accommodation from our trip!

Best stay in PPS!
Absolutely loved our stay at The Cabins! It was the highlight of our trip. Beth and Paul are the warmest, most accommodating hosts. They helped us book our tours and recommended all the best places to see.
We enjoyed the hearty breakfast and truly appreciated the dinner they hosted for us. Make sure to try Danggit Lamayo, the Palaweño Brewery beers, and their coffee!
Rooms are clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The lounge just outside our rooms were very homey and had a great view of the farm. We loved the peaceful ambience and found ourselves having just as much fun relaxing at the Farm as we would have exploring the beaches (which were about 30-40mins away from The Cabins).
Will definitely be staying in The Cabins and nowhere else, whenever we go back to Puerto.
