Compact room but facilities good
I really liked this hotel. Checkin was easy and the staff spoke good English. Reception is 24hrs. The Atrium is very impressive with plenty of places to sit.The lifts are spacious and there was three on my side of the hotel. I was facing the Atrium but there was a proper curtain and a privacy curtain. No noise apart from early on when people were knocking around-probably because no carpet in rooms… I was in one of their smart rooms which are compact but fine for me (can take 2). Love the kettle being there (unusual for European rooms) and the makings. Tiny shower room but no problem. I was a little disappointed by the water pressure and temperature but it was adequate. Bed was comfy and bedding lovely. You can control the temp in room but I was fine with set temp. Love the ability to dim the lights. Didn’t eat in the restaurant for lunch/dinner but breakfast was all you can eat buffet. Lots of choices! The prices on meals looked reasonable for a Nordic country. Didn’t use the bars but they looked reasonable too. There is a little shop next to reception if you get snacky late at night. Didn’t use the wellness centre but it looks good. €25 for 1.5 hours. Animals are allowed. There is a car park under the hotel. Nearest tram is 5 mins walk away. Nearest metro 15mins walk away.

Excellent place for a short stay in Helsinki. Cosy rooms, nice shared areas, excellent breakfast. The rooftop spa is definitely worth checking out. The guests are very diverse, from solo to couples and families. Breakfast in the weekends can get really really busy. Would be happy to stay again

Nice premises But affordable to too many
Bathroom smell was awful, drain. Breakfast packed, with uneducated people pushing through and not knowing how to queue or basic manners. Theres a reason ill pay a little extra next time to go to hotel not everyone can afford. Upstairs spa and bar was nice.

Very nice stay!
The hotel is clean and cosy. Rooms (standard room in our case) small but functional. Wellness area nice. Breakfast good. The restaurant in the hotel served an excellent dinner so no need to leave the facility at all!

This hotel was not for us – maybe for someone else
- Dirty rooms: we got compensated with a new room, which had a nasty sewer smell in the toilet. Complaining is not worth it since if you already have wellness-package or did not arrive with a car (free parking), they don't have much to give to compensate
- No one enforces the rules in wellness-area – guests are going directly from sauna to pool without taking a shower because a) not enough showers available, b) too impatient to wait to get into shower, c) too lazy to go from outside to inside showers
- Hotel layout is confusing: If your room is next to the B-elevator and you want to go to wellness area, you need to walk through the whole floor to reach A-elevators. B-elevator does not reach the 7th floor
- Young noisy children running around the hotel and bar area closer to midnight – even though the parents has the primary responsibility, the hotel staff should guide their guests
- Great breakfast and steam sauna in wellness-area though, which would be the only reasons we would come back
