Lakeside luxury

We had a lovely stay and especially enjoyed having the private dock in the suite, making it easy to start the day with a refreshing morning swim in the lake. The beautiful lake views created a peaceful atmosphere throughout our visit.
The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated the thoughtfully prepared vegan options and loved enjoying breakfast in our suite while looking out over the water.
Having Saana Kuopio right next door was another great bonus.
A relaxing and memorable experience that we would happily recommend.

Spa isn’t included in the standard room meaning there is no hotel spa / sauna only private for superior room . Else is the spa next door for a fee . This isn’t clear in the hotel description.

Charming, relaxing and different - and so much better than others!

I normally avoid writing reviews, but after the night in Bella Lake Resort in Kuopio I just felt I have to tell others, how lovely place it is.
Bella Lake Resort offers you a bit different kind of hotel experience. It is situated outside the city center, and in order to get there, you need a car, a taxi or a local bus - the nearest bus stop is 300m away. BUT, once you are at the Resort and in your fresh wood smelling, spacious, fancy room with a magnificent lake view, you forget the city and the world outside completely!
Our suite with private sauna was very comfortable, cosy and modern at the same time. The room was fresh wood smelling, immaculate clean, relaxing sound proof and joy to the eye - so different from your average hotel room experience! The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served in the small breakfast room with stunning lake view and was nothing of usual, but fresh, individual, generous and simply tasty!
And if you want to experience something really different, book a suite with sauna and access to your own ice hole - I believe there is no other hotel room in the world where you can go to sauna and have a swim in an ice hole from your terrace!
My recommendation: just go there and experience it by yourself!

An excellent and beautiful luxury cabin. The rooms are stylishly decorated, and you can step directly from your private terrace into the embrace of the clean waters of Lake Kallavesi. In winter, ice swimming is not available in the standard cabins. The staff is amazing—always ready to help in any situation. Thank you!
