Amazing getaway

Wonderful 3 night stay in April. 3 of us, including 11 year old. Cabin was plenty spacious, with smart layout, comfortable bed, and great heating. The windows around bed of cabin are great, frozen lake in distance with beautiful sunrise and sunset plus one clear night the stars were out with slight northern lights. Lunch and dinner was amazing by Esa, meals were truly a highlight. Spring came early and snow melt resulted in our original planned tour being canceled. Antton did a great job finding us alternative last second options. Even partially melted, the resort was fun to spend day at. Airport was easy to get through and location is a quick drive from it. This is a great few night side trip if in Helsinki and highly recommend, although could have easily stayed longer. Felt like a winter version of staying in huts over the water in tropics.

Magical from start to finish

We had an amazing experience and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
Anton was extremely great, from driving us to and from the resort for different activities we had planned to making sure our 2 boys had everything they needed to ensure they done all activities on the resort.
Seeing the Northern lights from our cabin was magical. We will definitely be coming again.

High quality gem in the middle of beautiful nature

Arctic Lumo Resort is set in a stunning location, with brand-new cabins overlooking the lake and forest from the hillside. The concept is truly one of a kind: the package includes breakfast and a three-course dinner prepared in Northern style, as well as activities such as feeding reindeers, snowshoeing, and more. Guests can spend time in the traditional kota, soaking up the atmosphere and even brewing coffee over an open fire.
The chef creates genuinely excellent food, beautifully presented. He personally served dessert to each guest at the table, which was a thoughtful and pleasant touch.
The cabins are nestled among the trees — being surrounded by snow-laden branches was incredibly relaxing. From the resort, guests can take a transfer to the Ruka ski resort if they wish. After the bustle there, it’s wonderful to return to the peaceful, nature-filled surroundings of Lumo. The staff have a great, positive vibe. Highly recommended.

Relaxing

The new resort in Kuusamo is a great place to relax in a quiet and peaceful winter landscape. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing.
The service was very friendly during our stay. The staff were welcoming and always happy to help.
Special mention for the warm hot tub in a winter setting and the delicious food.

Excellent Stay at Arctic Lumo

We had an amazing weekend at Arctic Lumo Resort in Kuusamo. The food was outstanding, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and cozy. Everything was well organized and thoughtfully done. A truly memorable experience, highly recommended.
