Päiviönsaarischool graduation part after 40 years

Food was excellent, so home- made and tasty. Lakeview everywhere, countrysidefeeling present wherever you went. Service so warm, almost familylike. Easy to negotiate some extrawishes f ex own band playing at the yard. Rooms clean and nice, three different saunad to relax

Amazing scenery and the best hosts

Niemilomat is a real gem. My family and I have spent summer and winter holidays here for the past 12 years. The hosts are fantastically nice and helpful. The nature and the opportunities to swim, fish, sail, cycle, hike, etc. are fantastic. We have lived in many places in Finland, but Niemilomat is undoubtedly the most beautiful. Our children look forward to taking the journey from Denmark to Finland every year, as they describe that the holiday and the time together in Nimeilomat is, without comparison, the best thing they have experienced. The place and the hosts have our warmest recommendation.

The place excellent and atmosphere was something unreal.
The staff was hard working people with four generation serving us and were very friendly.
Breakfast was like homemade and served in cottage with smiley faces.
We recommendate warmly.

Beautiful bnb in a gorgeous location

We booked Niemilomat as a one-night stopover on a journey from Kuhmo to Helsinki; I.think that if we do another Finnish holiday I’d make it our base. We stayed in the main house—an attractive old building with a lot of nooks and terraces to relax on—but there are some lovely cottages as well. The establishment is right on a lake, and one can do the classic jump from the sauna into the water. There are also boats, and a major canoeing route starts at the pier. Wild strawberries and bilberries can be picked in the local woodland, and the location is ideal for exploring the Lakeland.

Kaunis ja kotoisa / Beautiful and homey

Yövyimme täällä yhden yön. Rauhallinen sijainti niemen kärjessä jossa upeat maisemat järvelle. Siistit ja viihtyisät yleiset tilat ja huoneet. Ihana, hyvä ja runsas aamiainen tupakeittiössä. Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja pihapiirissä suloinen kissa. Suosittelen!
We stayed here for one night. Quiet location with plenty of nature at a small cape with beautiful views to the lake. Clean and homey communal areas and rooms. Fantastic, lovely, and plentiful breakfast. The staff is friendly and there was a cute cat roaming around the property (outdoors). Highly recommended!
