Beautiful place to relax in Åland, nice place to swim and good restaurant next to the small houses :)

I liked Frisbeegolf track. There were not possibility to load phone in cottage (no electric sock). It was required to empty fridge, although there was not one to use, and it was required to brush (clean) cottage without a brush to do it. There was no possibility to order breakfast, and/or request timetable for it more than one day in advance. Timetable changed daily (for example mon 8 and tue 9 a clock forward. )

Really good

Stayed one night in one of the little cabins that look so cute. The inside have 2 beds and yes, there isn't space for 2 people and luggage so people park their car outside and use their trunk. I had plenty of space being on my own. There are shared bathrooms but the plus here is that it's never full because there are no caravans or tents so there was never an issue with the shower or bathroom.
The surroundings are the best part. There are spectacular views over the lake and nature all around. From the cabin window I could see the forest and lake nearby, it was beautiful to fall asleep like that. I took a walk around at sunset, it was so beautiful and quiet, you could only hear the water and wind.
To those mentioning luxury: you don't go to these places for luxury, you go for the nature, which is even better.

Cottages perfect for backpackers

We stayed in a cottage for 3 nights. There is a bus stop right outside Svinö Stugby, so it is well linked to Mariehamn (bus line 5). If you stay in a cottage, kitchen and bathroom are shared and outside the cottage, but in summer it's not a problem, since the weather is pretty warm. Everything was really clean and people were friendly. Moreover, the nature around the camping is really beautiful: there is a small private beach and you can rent kayaks. There is also the possibility to rent bikes for 10 euros per day. If you are looking for more comfort, you can also rent an entire house with kitchen and bathroom inside.
