I would definitely come back!

O agora Hotel Ibis Styles Amazonia é ótimo. It is located in the center of Caiena (one can walk for almost everything), it was completely renovated, the rooms are spacious, bright and comfortable, the restaurant is good and mainly the reception staff is fantastic. Especially Mondyne, who did everything to help us. The hotel is much better than I expected for a three star (and look a little reluctant before booking because of that). I did not understand much of the logic of the hotel elevator, you need to climb all the stairs to the 2nd floor to take the elevator Pro 3rd. Or go down stairs to get the elevator in the garage. And there's a lack of gas water at breakfast, which is so common in French restaurants. The rest, I liked everything. Would stay here again for sure! Super pleasant surprise!

Poor service!

A hotel that seems at first glance more than satisfactory. A neat decoration in the entrance is a friendly pool in the inner courtyard.
At the reception the two hostesses are rather smiling but not really sure of themselves. Our reservation is for a double room with two single beds. Surprise when we arrive in our room there is only one double bed.
We return to the reception to report it. The only answer given is that it is Sunday, there is no maid so it is impossible to change the layout of the room. I specify that this is a business trip and that I share my room with a colleague, so no choice but to share the same bed as my colleague!
We insist on this problem and notice the change of mood of hostesses who do not care about our situation!
This situation is simply unacceptable!
To continue with details that once accumulated do a lot, the bedroom TV does not work properly, two of the three bulbs in the bathroom no longer work and hairs are found on the floor!
In short I am very disappointed with this establishment which has good potential!

Misused family suite: kitchen unusable, TV without service, restaurant inaccessible

We stayed in a family suite with kitchen at the Ibis Cayenne. On arrival, surprise: no utensils (dishes, pans, etc.). No mention at the time of booking that it was necessary to make the request in advance. We had to insist at the front desk to get some.
Another point: Smart TV didn’t even allow you to connect to Netflix. We were told that the technician would not pass quickly. As a result, we had to share a connection with our phone to enjoy a minimum of comfort.
Finally, on the catering side: no information at the time of booking specifies that the service is only in room service, with a very limited card. The restaurant room is reserved for gendarmes and airline agents, which leaves other guests out.
We chose this suite to cook and have a self-catering stay with the family, but the experience does not at all match the services expected for a 3-star hotel.

To choose I would not go there

I never take the time to write reviews.
However the time has come to give an informed opinion about this hotel.
It is indeed well located in the center of Cayenne near a police station with many homeless.
The rooms are small normal for an ibis but filled with moisture and dust.
The housekeeping was random according to the days.
I tested two types of single and suite rooms but the observation was the same regarding cleaning.
In the single the engine of the Clim was on the balcony so balcony unusable with the water running.
I’m not even talking about the lack of soundproofing in the street-side rooms, whether it’s the noise from outside or the footsteps of other guests in the other rooms.
The suites are a notch above and the bathrooms are perfect however the corridors are filled with carpets not regularly vacuumed and the whole remains dusty.
The hotel is filled with a squadron of gendarmerie where courtesy is not required do not expect answers to your hellos.
The breakfast rocks him from the fruits of the eggs of the bread of pastries and rather correct on the other hand of 9h the bins are no longer replaced and of 9h30 there is nothing more and at 9h55 we remove everything.
This hotel is not worthy of being in the Accor family.
I would spare you the wacky answers when I left between the two receptionists in the morning who were the opposite of those in the afternoon.
Other hotels in the city centre will be more suitable for families.

Central location, great breakfast, clean & safe with secured parking (although limited) right in the centre of cayenne. It has a pool too. Highly recommending!
