The room was fresh and clean as well as tidy. The breakfast was good quality and value for money. The hotel is also located in the centre of Albert which is very convenient. The hotel proprietor was helpful and welcoming.

First of all, the room didn’t resemble any of the pictures shown on the website. Our room reeked of old cigarr and we had to have our Windows opened at all times. The beds were not comfortable and really worn out, and the toilet and the shower resembled more those found aboard ships. The staff couldn’t speak one Word in english, but Google translate did the trick. The breakfast was really simple with limited options. We were not satisfied with the overall experience.

Very basic accommodation. Property run down. No bar or restaurant open.
Took an hour and a half for the water to warm up.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID. Rude owner, shabby and dirty rooms. Had better facilities at Glastonbury. Lumpy bed, dodgy electrics, Signs saying owners don't speak English - he knows the word "tax" though! And the town is a dump too.

Not recommended

Hotel can serve as an emergency solution if there is nothing left free in the area but it also stops there. Restaurant is no longer available and you can barely sit in the bar.
Breakfast is embarrassing! Coffee that you either look through or is way too strong. Take everything out of the fridge with ice cold (hard boiled) eggs as a topper, a little choice of toppings. The fruit on offer looks bad, the croissants can still get through.
Bathroom quite small with a toilet that half the hotel wakes up when used, quality of the bed can still be somewhat through.
Conversing with the operator is also out of the question.
In terms of location perhaps ideal to explore the area around WW I, but rest assured, search a little, there is much better to find.
