What a lovely place and welcoming welcome. Fine tips from the owners and fresh baguettes every morning. A lovely swimming pool and beautiful garden with many seating areas. A place to remember and return!

Most amazing experience for years

We rented a gite when the group was there who celebrated a 70th birthday. This group had rented 4 gites. We are coming many years to Peyrolles, the hosts to their extreme best for all their hosts, we are disgusted to read the 11 reviews that this group has written (under horrible). This group was extremely arrogant from the start to us / othr guests, they wanted to enter the 4 gites they had booked early in the morning (while arrival is at 1600), they were surprised that they did not have the domain and they claimed that they had booked everything (but then admitted to the owners tat they had forgotten what they had booked ..), as a result they did not have enough beds (the owners offered to portable beds ..), the evening of the anniversary they were very loud after 1200pm and we asked the owners to intervene (they talked to the them but they only stopped at 2 pm), they lost several keys of gites (and blamed the owners), they forgot lot of things (which the owners send to them by post..) ...

The disaster!!!!

Catastrophic. Do not trust the photos. The owners live on the premises and do not hesitate to visit you at any hour of the day or night. Moreover, there is a bungalow shaped like a colonial tent that is a joy in the full sun. You will not risk sleeping in during the summer...

A stay that felt like an outright scam — avoid at all costs

A stay that felt like an outright scam — avoid at all costs
Don't trust the photos — the château and garden shown online aren't accessible to guests. What you actually get is a run-down "Saint Pons" wing, really just a shabby 1950s building worse equipped than a basic gîte, plus a caravan and tower that are little more than crudely converted shacks with no insulation. We froze at night with no spare blankets provided.
Worst of all: while we celebrated a 70th birthday with friends, the owners barged into our privately rented accommodation, uninvited, to order us to bed — a completely unacceptable and frankly illegal intrusion into a space we'd paid for exclusive use.
False advertising, substandard rooms, and a shocking violation of our privacy. One of the worst rental experiences we've had. Avoid.
