Hospitality and quality at the appointment
A family weekend absolutely successful (9 people).
From the moment we arrived, we were seduced by the quality of the welcome and the sense of service. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very well maintained, which immediately contributes to the feeling of well-being.
Throughout our stay, the staff showed attentiveness, availability and sincere care.
Breakfast is generous and varied. As for dinner, the menu is wide enough to satisfy all tastes, with refined and tasty dishes: raclette or fondue, fish, and high-quality meats.
Finally, the location of the hotel is ideal: just a few minutes walk from the resort and the ski lifts.
An address we recommend without hesitation for a family stay.

Our experience
Hotel Chalet d’Auron is very nice, the bar and restaurant room are very nice, the breakfast is perfect, and Auron is a beautiful village.
Unfortunately our experience of the room was disappointing:
We stayed at Chalet d’Auron from 17 to 19 February (booking via Booking.com). The booked room was advertised as a “Classic Double Room with View” (room N19), with pictures clearly showing a Jacuzzi in the bathroom.
On arrival: no Jacuzzi, and no view. The window overlooked a parking lot blocked by a large pile of dirty snow. The room allocated did not fit the reserved category.
Despite our request for a change or a commercial gesture, the property replied that “other guests are not complaining,” without acknowledging the obvious downgrade.
We recommend that future guests carefully check the actual compliance of the rooms with the photos and description when booking.

Unworthy of its 4 stars!
I share here my worst experience in billed services!
Stayed in a beautiful chalet, we had booked with our friends or 8 people, SPA access.
The friendly welcome of the employee was quickly forgotten when we piled into a small space with small lockers to change.
We proceeded as this lady explained to us: 29 degree pool access to follow with Jacuzzi, hammam and sauna.
Time of complete operation: 16 minutes!!!
Obviously with a frozen pool with two kids throwing balls of diameter 50cm, heavy in the water... it calms!
The Jacuzzi? impossible to set foot in because occupied by two families (parents with their little kids ...)
We head to the hamam... ridiculously small where we squeeze against strangers...
The sauna? no room because there too children occupy the seats!
When we describe our catastrophic journey to the manager, she tells us that we exaggerate about the water temperature and that a hot drink is offered!!! We suggest that she watch the screens to see the presence of children in adult spaces and she reminds us of her invitation to drink a free hot drink ... but ... there are very few places that are already occupied so we do not consume obviously!
Your 4 stars were won at the carnival in August on Place de Auron???
I viewed the whole hotel which is not worthy of this qualification.

Business is Business
I had booked a room for 3 nights for my father to spend Christmas with family in Auron.
I do the Check in on the 24th at 3pm and at 6pm my father calls me from his room, he is not well, and we have to contact the fire department then the samu to get him down to Nice in Pasteur.
I come by the next day to pick up his things from his room and check out, since my father is hospitalized.
And then they make me pay for the 3 Nights, not even a small commercial gesture, nothing!
Nice Christmas spirit!
